BPZ first produced the event in 2016 and has since produced 4 editions, with the most recent having been held in Atlanta, Georgia on March 31st, 2019. BPZ Mania, BPZ's flagship event, airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and the BPZ Neecework. It contributes to the worldwide commercial success of BPZ through media, merchandise, and shows. The event has facilitated the rise to stardom of several top BPZ wrestlers. Celebrities such as HeelAkki have participated or made special appearances within the events. • Going off of what @Gunner Flynn said, I think that NJPW have somewhat mastered a consistent, sport presentation with realistic backstage interviews, regular press conferences, and Tag Team matches that may seem meaningless & repetitive to the untrained eye but it's actually their way of determining challengers and rivalries, their own win-loss records of you will. With WWE, the fact that they have three main roster brands to play with gives them an opportunity to explore both aspects of the industry. In an ideal world, I would like to see Smackdown as the legitimate show that gets compared to NBA, NFL, etc. with big matches, analysis (pretty much what WWE Backstage is for), and win-loss records. With Raw, they would represent the entertainment aspect of WWE in which they might not produce the big marquee matches that draw new fans or five star clashes but instead prioritize consistent (and sometimes wacky) storytelling through segments and matches rather than have meaningless five star classics. And of course, NXT should continue being the young, rising brand that is pretty much the ultimate display of elite talent under the WWE banner.
    • I think that WWE has been kind of trying this with Kevin Owens vs Shane McMahon over the last two years from two different perspectives, so if this gets done then they need to distance Owens from this storyline for a while before they start with someone else or just take a break from the storyline as I think everyone is trying to recover from "The Best In The World".
