  1. The Intercontinental Championship match should definitely have been on Backlash but they left it off so it wouldn't outshine the other matches on the card! Well maybe you shouldn't have done it on the go home show cuz that's close enough proximity that I'll just keep wishing it was on a PPV. Two all time greats going like 40 minutes made for an incredible match and I am glad to see AJ get the strap. Still am annoyed about the fact they traded him for "future considerations" and yet Smackdown has gotten Forgotten Sons and Matt Riddle. Since they said that I just figured they won't ever do anything with that and it'll be forgotten but I think without Karl and Luke it's best for him to be on Smackdown anyways. Also good to see Tucker again, because Heavy Machinery should be a top tag team right now rather than this post Mania singles push deal. Tucker always had his back and now Otis is just practically abandoning his brother for glory and pussy! Sidenote, in ring piss test segment was decently funny but this feels like a complete filler feud.

  4. Buddy Ace is making his way to the ring in a haste and he does not seem happy at all. We haven’t seen Buddy Ace make an appearance since his loss in the Powertrip Cup so who knows what’s brought him out here tonight. He snatches a microphone from ringside and paces around in the ring a bit before speaking. “I have waited and waited but to no avail. At first I was just gonna let things pass without saying anything but nah, this ain’t gonna fly. Last Resort is coming up and I don’t know if everyone knows this, couldn’t blame you if you didn’t, but I’m supposed to have a one on one match with KENJI there. Yet where in the hell has KENJI been, cos’ I have been waiting for his ass to come out here before we start building up to what is a BPZMania quality one on one bout. Ah, but see, he’s too busy to come to Carnage. Wanna know what he’s been up to in the time that we could have promoted this? Me too because the last anyone saw him he was a drunken mess and since then he hasn’t shown up to work once. So now I can’t even rely on the guy to show up come Last Resort which is why I’m here, because I’m hoping that this bum hears this and hasn’t forgotten to show up on the 12th.” “It’s a bit sad to see him break down this quickly. A couple of losses and he’s lost all hope. Before that North American Championship match at BPZMania, I had said one of the things that made KENJI and I so different was his relative lack of struggle in comparison to myself. At the time I think that was valid but now here it is, the struggle that makes or breaks a competitor, and it seems it’s done the latter to KENJI. Now would be the time to prove me wrong and cement himself as this elite competitor so high above me that everyone thinks he is. When you have put 110% of your effort into scratching and clawing your way forward to fulfill your dreams and then still have it all taken away from you despite this, that’s when we define ourselves. How you act in the darkest times, that’s what matters the most. Well now that we have seen his behavior at his lows, I think it’s safe to say I was correct.” “KENJI is upset about failing and that’s understandable. Everybody feels that way at some point including myself. For a long time KENJI has been burdened with the weight of being touted as being one of the next big things in BPZ and that weight was at its heaviest with the reintroduction of the brand split. People all around the world thought he would finally become the main eventer he was meant to be. Well look, I get the frustration. God knows how many times I’ve sat there and listened to someone tell me how bright my future is, how I could become a world champion someday if I wanted to. Might seem like a weird thing to complain about but getting told this all the time by everyone just made my confidence worse because here I am, supposedly future world champion, losing all the damn time to people that I’m told I can easily beat. It’s confusing and I’ve been treated this way from the start, but even then I haven’t given up yet and if KENJI has then honestly I feel zero sympathy for him. It’s insulting to see the way things have played out and I can only hope that at Last Resort, if he even makes his way to the ring that night, I can beat some motivation into him.” Buddy Ace tosses the microphone away and storms off to the back after having put his thoughts out here on Carnage.
  5. April 2015 I decided to kick off the PPV with a good tag team match. Bobby Lashley himself is on his way out due to not meeting the owner goal safety rating this month so I'll probably job him out a bunch on his way out. Bad Influence is a fantastic team while Daniels is a top 5 performer on his own so I'm definitely gonna keep pushing them and maybe get them in a tag title feud soon. I had wanted more midcard feuds so I had this building the past month. I probably should have made this a proper storyline spanning months but I blew it. The idea was Hernandez didn't think highly of Kenny but Kenny wanted to prove himself or befriend Hernandez before deciding he didn't need to prove himself to Hernandez and going after him. Definitely should have done something real with it. Austin Aries is one of my best talents which is why I have had him hold onto the X-Division Championship for so long and it's definitely been a good choice. Austin has gone from defending against Eric Young and now Rockstar Spud, the idea being that Austin Aries considers them jokes along with the other potential challengers. I have a plan that I'm excited to have unfold around the title/Aries and hopefully it will turn out well in the future. I still feel like I need to utilize Mr. Anderson more which is why I even put these two together in the first place but I don't really have any definitive plans for him. He's one of my better guys but I just don't know. I am stretching this feud out as much as I can because Sting is elite. He's my number one guy and I'm sure to most it's laughable that a 65 would be something I'm desperate for but I am. I don't want to rush Sting through things though so I'm trying to hold off pairing him with every other person on the roster yet. Originally, for months in advance I had planned on The Heritage winning the tag team championships by this time and EC3 even was gonna get launched to the world title for a quick reign but I thought it was dumb. Even after I had altered my plans I still had them winning the tag titles here but now that I am here, I just didn't want to do it. I wanna rethink my approach to how the stable is presented and all that honestly. This feud was kinda weird, I was honestly thinking some Booker T/HHH at Mania kinda content. I was gonna have MVP win but then I had another last second change of heart, I guess because I wanna keep Magnus as a decent main eventer. This revolved around the pretty simple idea of Samoa Joe getting revenge for Bobby Roode cheating in the number one contender's match to eliminate him. A good match for my standards which was expected though it was a little lower in the rating than I predicted. Then, in the main event match, we had a Hardcore Match as Kurt Angle defend the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bully Ray. This wound up being my third best match despite going against either man's strengths. The real big story is that Abyss has returned for revenge against Bully Ray, costing him the match and then ending the show with a three way brawl. I had wanted this to take place sooner under different circumstances but I think this was better than what I first planned for. I hopefully can do Abyss some justice though he still isn't a main event talent hopefully I can keep him in meaningful feuds over time. Overall, this is my third best show rating yet as I am on a trend of having 60 plus rated PPVs, which is hopefully going to be the norm from now on. I think I have gotten better at understanding the rating system and even if I put out stinkers I at least know how to better do these big shows. Consistently good television is the goal right now which is much harder for me though not impossible.
  6. I decided it would just be easier for me to make a post of the weekly shows and then a PPV post so that's what I'm doing from now. This is week 1 and 2 of April heading into our April PPV, Unbreakable. Not great shows at all but honestly I barreled through to the PPV. I just signed a new deal with Direct for my PPVs and uh...surrendered all PPV revenue to them in order to get them to resign. That's probably stupid but I know nothing about this game and I got tons of money so I think I'll be fine... Week 1, April 2015 Week 2, April 2015
  7. I do think AEW could be doing better at blending the classic wrestling storytelling with the sports presentation they want a little bit better when I look at the way titles challengers have been handled. I like AEW a lot and it's fine as it is but we need to use the records/rankings in a more logical, obvious way. So far I love the TNT Championship, very obvious homage to Cody's favorite title the NWA Television Championship. From the start everybody pretty much figured they would have a TV Title or something similar if they had a midcard belt cuz of the way they talked about potential options. I think Cody as the inaugural champion is great. Cody has been the best face since the start of Dynamite and seeing all the major losses he has had it was inevitable he would finally get a big one. The promo he cut was a great as always and hopefully in the coming weeks he can establish the belt. Also, I thought the battle royal was good and I like the result cuz I've been wanting to see Jungleboy vs Cody for a bit but I did think Orange Cassidy being in the final 2 was bizarre. FTR's debut was great and I'm excited to see what they do in AEW, however I am still angry about the way AEW has treated and continues to treat The Butcher and The Blade! What a waste of a cool ass tag team. Brian Cage is a dope ass addition to AEW however I am worried about immediately having him as the number one contender, especially just after Brodie and Lance were instantly put in these big title matches to lose so quickly. I'm guessing Cage just beats jobbers along the way to Fyter Fest (not happy they are bringing the dumb joke back as an annual event!) before losing to Mox but I hope I am wrong. Honestly I'm starting to really agree with others that Jericho probably should have held the belt until at least DON cuz man he is always the highlight of the shows and continues to entertain every week. All in all great episode of Dynamite.

  11. What a surprise this is as Buddy Ace cuts off the Universal Champion mid sentence. It’s a bit strange to see him out here considering neither man has had anything to do with one another but surely there’s a good reason for this as Buddy Ace stands on the stage with a microphone. “Hoo boy, Jason Ryan vs Jeremiah Flynn in a Street Fight, that is one match I just gotta see. What I’m looking at right now is a very nostalgic sight. Flynn with an iron grip on that red strap, single handedly dominating the Carnage brand. Congrats on the win at Backlash by the way, I don’t think I got to say that to you. Now you may not know it just from this scene right here, but a lot has changed in the past couple years. I think it’s time someone made you realize that. Seems Jason Ryan is gonna get a crack at doing that and you may underestimate him but I think Jason might be the guy to do it. I know that man far better than probably anyone else around in BPZ. From the very beginning our careers have been intertwined, no matter whether we were mortal enemies or the closest of allies. It’s because we’ve gone to war together and against each other that I know the lengths Jason is willingly to go to. A Street Fight is only playing right into his strengths. I would love to see Jason Ryan shut you up by kicking your teeth down your throat but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to be the guy to do so.” “Flynn, at this very moment you are the most valuable man in this company. You were the number one overall draft pick and clearly for good reason. However, you aren’t going to be able to hold everyone else down forever. Arius, KENJI, now you want Jason Ryan...I really don’t get it. It looks like you have a chip on your shoulder, trying to prove you’re still the man by cutting the legs out from under the stars everyone loves. But are you trying to prove that to us or yourself? Either way it doesn’t matter to me, the only reason I even care about what you’re doing is that Universal Championship you’re holding right now. You are the one man that absolutely defines that championship, having had the longest championship reign this company has ever seen with it. Now after bringing it back from inactivity you’re a three time champion. To put this as simply as possible, I want to be Universal Champion. Now I guess you aren’t in the business of handing out free title shots anymore or you realize the guys on Carnage are more than stat pad material, either way I know you won’t give me a shot. That’s fine because I’m more than prepared to earn my chance to face you by winning this year’s Powertrip Cup.” “I’m sure you remember two years ago the first Powertrip Cup tournament took place for a shot at the Universal Championship. The very first match of the tournament was between “The Omega” Flynn and “The Awesome One” Buddy Ace. I was a young rookie making his debut against an all time great and everybody wrote me off as not even a bump in the road on your way to victory...everyone except you yourself. You treated me with respect when you didn’t have to and I’ll always be grateful for putting your all into our confrontation. We had a hell of a match that you of course won since you ultimately won the whole thing, but it put me on the map. I’m not the same wide eyed rookie I was back then though and I won’t settle for a few pats on the back this time, I am in it to win it. How poetic would it be for this tournament to set up our rematch after so long? I plan on making that a reality so I suggest you prepare yourself.” “As for Alex Costa...you say you didn’t have anything to do with Raven’s attack on Isaiah but that thought hadn’t even crossed my mind until you said something and now I can’t help but wonder. If you guys are friends I would imagine you would have at least some idea of what was going on with him. I don't have any proof so I'll drop it for now. By the way, you can bad talk Isaiah all you want but that’s not gonna get to me. He doesn’t need me to stick up for him so I won’t. How about we keep things between you and me cos’ we’re supposed to be warriors, not two highschoolers in some petty drama. One more week...then we’ll see who the better man is between the ropes." Buddy Ace stares down Flynn from the top of the ramp after putting the Universal Champion on notice.
  12. The real question isn't who could be the next Hogan, it's whose gonna be the next leader of their era because there will never be another Hulk Hogan. I have said it before and will continue saying it, I consider Hulk Hogan the greatest of all time and he completely defines wrestling to me. Hogan is the reason why the WWF became a juggernaut company and took wrestling as a whole to new heights in doing so. You look at the big guys of their era and I'd say the Mount Rushmore is probably Sammartino, Hogan, Austin, Cena. Roman is that guy for the current era, and I don't see anybody else getting that true face of the company push for awhile.

  18. Buddy Ace is coming out to the ring for the first time since the draft, last seen in a video from home while he was recovering from the aftereffects of the War Games match. Buddy Ace will be one of sixteen men competing in the Powertrip Cup for either a Universal or Undisputed Championship match and in the first round as being matched up against ‘Carnage’s Blackheart’ Alex Costa. “The third annual Powertrip Cup is here and I am proud to say that I will be one of eight men representing Carnage in the tournament. I feel a connection to this tournament as two years ago I made my debut in the first Powertrip Cup against the eventual winner, our current Universal Champion, Flynn. Unfortunately, last year I was left out of the tournament. I wasn’t worthy of being involved and that stung at the time but now I have worked myself into consideration as one of this brand’s top eight. Currently Isaiah is out and I wish him a speedy recovering so we can get together to kick ass again but in the meantime I promise I ain’t gonna let him down here.” “In the first round I will be taking on Alex Costa and I must say that as a competitor that match excites the hell out of me. Since Alex first arrived on the scene I was intrigued by him but we’ve been mostly kept apart until now. As a wrestler, it isn’t just about the end result of your match. The fame, the championships, the money, those are all the bonuses to this job. The thing every real wrestler desires is the best fight they can have and I know with Alex that I am sure to get a damn good one. Alex has absolutely lethal striking ability and impressive athleticism that is hard to match. As hard to match as he is though, I think I can. This is not gonna be a pretty match, we are gonna kick the crap out of each other, not for any personal grudges or the like but because we both want to win this tournament. It’s as simple as that and yet that doesn’t make this any less meaningful. Only one man can advance and I know both of us will do all that we can to make sure we don’t lose. Alex Costa, I am looking forward to our match.” With that, Buddy Ace takes his leave, giving his immediate thoughts here on the recently announced Carnage side of the bracket. This first round of matches will certainly be a must see.

    Risk

The video opens to find Buddy Ace seated on his couch at home, still recovering from injuries sustained in the recent War Games match he participated in. “It’s all over. 8 months of terrorism is finally over. At World at War, Aces High and Nebakos fought Bulletproof inside War Games in the main event of the final show before the draft and we vanquished Bulletproof once and for all. Despite being the most hellacious match of my career it is also the one I am most proud of. I got to fight alongside two of BPZ’s greatest ever, men that I truly respect and look up to, all to stand up for BPZ and those who were wronged by our enemies that night. There was no bigger way to close out that era of BPZ as we now move to the next: the return of the brand split.” “Honestly I was pretty nervous before the draft started. I had no clue when I would be taken, to what brand I would go, or who I would share a roster with. The last draft ultimately felt like a disaster when it wound up killing a brand and the split. I sat there watching the General Managers make their picks and I have to say that I was as shocked as the rest of you when I was drafted 9th overall. I was drafted in the same round as the BPZ World Heavyweight Champion. I see a lot of people online questioning this pick, wondering that the hell does Buddy Ace offer to have been drafted so early, but I by now I am used to this kind of treatment. I can admit, Julius may have taken a risk in drafting me before some of the other names that he missed out on. I look at the names drafted before me, I get why they went before me. I look at names drafted after me, I get why you say they shoulda been picked instead. Well since Julius was willingly to take such a risk I plan on repaying him and Carnage back in any way I can. If I have to prove my worth to the world then so be it, I’m gonna prove Buddy Ace is worthy of his draft pick.” “Carnage is the brand that I debuted on and I am proud to be back on it in this brand split. You keep hearing the word potential when I’m talked bout, it ain’t gonna remain potential. The recent successes I’ve had are gonna continue. I’m gonna use this platform I’ve been given on Carnage, as a partner to Isaiah, and I am going to become one of the best this brand has to offer.”
  22. Buddy Ace looks at his partners before speaking again. "Bullet Proof has been unsustainable from the moment Jeremiah Flynn had anything to do with it. Bullet Proof had the potential to be far greater than it turned out but it was morphed into something cancerous. I have always had a lot of respect for Jeremiah the wrestler but I can still see him for what he is, and this past year has made it quite clear that he is rotten to the core. Isaiah had the right vision for Bullet Proof and its members but Jeremiah prevented that vision from being fulfilled. Isaiah never wanted Bullet Proof to be a pack of cowards hell bent on ruining this company yet it happened because of the influence of Jeremiah. You could see the split in ideologies in their individual words and the formation of Firing Squad, the ruthless and savage group that was the ideal form of Bullet Proof to Jeremiah. It continued to grow to its own detriment as now the group is imploding. Jeremiah slowly poisoned Bullet Proof and then ditched them. Bullet Proof is all but dead now. Ropati defects to the Death Riders, a brother war between Mikey and Alex, we face the shell of a once mighty faction at World at War." "Hans Clayton has been the leader of Bullet Proof though he obviously couldn't have been a very good one to have led them right into their downfall. See, maybe he could have fixed things if his judgement hadn't been so clouded. Hans has changed since the group's inception and not for the better. He was manipulated and corrupted to the point that he was willingly to turn his back on a brother. It's a shame because Isaiah was there alongside him in Bullet Proof solely because he believed in Hans and wanted him to succeed. All those years together down the drain for nothing. Instead Isaiah was swapped out for FDS which is a bit of a downgrade if you ask me, a true friend tossed to the side for no good reason. Hans would claim Isaiah was only in Bullet Proof for himself which was wrong but also ironic considering his replacement was certainly only in it in hopes of a career resurgence. That action itself makes it clear he never had a clue what he was doing. I can't deny his ability though as he was one of my first ever opponents here in BPZ. FDS can do the deathmatches, can outwrestle even the most technically skilled, he has all the bases covered. Even with all that skill, even with the honor of being a Hall of Famer, he's just a desperate man holding on to what he thinks is his only chance for success. Now the last man to officially join them was Bob Sparks. Some may call Bob Sparks a powerhouse, an unstoppable monster, but that's not what I see. When I look at Bob I see a snake, a coward, and a bitch. Last October when Bob betrayed the hWo on its debut, I was the first man to get a chair in the back. Bob killed the hWo just so he could be in what evolved into the Mafia. But that wasn't enough for Bob because even then he continued to scheme, to look for a better deal once he was tired of what he had. That greed led him to Bullet Proof, perfect for a scumbag like Bob. The hWo may or may not have been a bad career choice but that wasn't for Bob to decide. Not everyone thinks the way Bob does, forsaking any loyalties whenever it's convenient for him to do so. Just like FDS, Bob is clinging to his only hope, but once Bullet Proof is gone then Bob is gonna be alone again and he will be in for a rude awakening." "It is an honor and a privilege to stand in the ring with these two men. Isaiah is the definition of a workhorse and has given his all to this company night in and night out for 5 years. Nebakos is a returning legend that I have always wanted to work with. This lineup is a dream team to me. This dream team right here in the ring today, we are a united front, together to complete one goal: eradicate Bullet Proof from the face of the Earth. 25. The scene opens to a wall of white, identified as a cue ball as the camera zooms out to reveal a group of people playing a game of pool in a bar. The man takes his turn and pockets two balls at once in impressive fashion before the camera pulls away from the table, weaving in and out through groups of people as it works its way to the bar where a familiar face is seated. Buddy Ace is red faced and loudly chatting with the woman sitting next to him, obviously several drinks in. The woman is clearly annoyed but Buddy Ace is oblivious to the physical cues as he rattles on. "...I mean I joked about it for months, but I never expected it to happen. But really who could have? Apparently me, I'm some sorta Nostramus, ya know. This man disappears for something like 8 months just to come in last second, take a pin, and walk off. It's a great send off for a Hall of Famer, not so great for me. What a selfish thing to do if ya ask me. Everything was supposed to come full circle for me after fighting my way to that point. I mean I could have at least been allowed my singles match, I deserved my singles match! I mean after what happened in my earlier match I needed that singles match. I know I would have won that for sure but now I may never get another title shot again. I lost everything at BPZMania! Now we got this brand split thing coming back. Did I tell you last time I was a first round pick?” “Yes that’s the third ti--” “First round draft pick, don’t care about the circumstances, first round pick! Now I feel I’ll be lucky to go in the first ten rounds. Who wants the guy that lost twice at BPZMania? I certainly wouldn’t so I couldn’t blame the General Managers. It...it’s not my fault though, I try my best, I just got these other people in the way. I am the hardest working man in that company, I outta be a big time star! What the hell, 2 years of work and nobody seems to appreciate it. I just get so tired of it all but even when I've lost everything it still is all I have. It's okay though because I'll make them all how good I am and they're...they're gonna all look really stupid.” The woman has had enough as she gets out of her seat and walks off. Buddy waves her off and downs the rest of his drink. Without her the bartender is Buddy’s next victim as he looks ready to start up again. “Sheesh, what is her problem? Typical, will talk ya deaf but won’t listen. I can do better though so she’s missing out. Hey, refill this for me man. Anyways, you feel me right? I mean I was robbed last Sunday when I'm the one that's supposed to be the cowboy, aha...” The bartender pushes Buddy’s refilled glass towards him and the sound of the bell at the door is heard as it opens up. Buddy glances over his shoulder to see a familiar face approaching him.
