  2. I’d be lying if I said I was excited for this match. Despite Bliss being on the main roster since 2016, Bliss and Flair will finally have a proper feud for the first time, but it has to be with this gimmick. I think Flair retains and this feud continues. It’s too early for Flair to lose the belt unless they want to stat-pad even more, which I don’t think should happen. Perhaps Bliss wins by DQ and this feud continues into October, perhaps a match at Crown Jewel or a PPV like Clash of Champions. This has potential and hopefully the build gets better as weeks pass.
  3. This match should be very good. Outside of the match with Bill Goldberg, Lashleys reign has been very entertaining. I think Orton will come close, but ultimately Lashley wins by Submission before being attacked by Goldberg after the match, which leads to Lashley/Goldberg 2 at Crown Jewel. Orton/Lashley is just a filler feud so Lashley can have something to do for September, before moving onto Saudi. Should be a good match, though.
  4. I think this match surpassed my expectations, and with just 13 Minutes, they managed to get the crowd invested into this program and more importantly Miro’s Reign as TNT Champion. This is 100% Miro’s best match since his AEW debut, and I think this further establishes him as a heel champ. Hopefully Eddie wins the belt one day, as he is one of the best on the AEW Roster right now.
  5. I thought this was probably the match of the night, as the Lucha a row and Young Bucks have unparalleled chemistry. The steel cage stipulation was a great addition, and led to some pretty cool spots. I think that the Lucha Bros winning was the right decision, considering the fact that The Bucks had been champs for nearly 300 Days. A great match and the spot with Matt having thumbtacks on the Jordan’s was extremely good. This is probably the best match these two rival teams have had in AEW, and I think it’s definitely a match of the year contender.
  6. Stone Cold vs The Rock WrestleMania X7 Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart WrestleMania XII TLC 2 WrestleMania X7 Kenny Omega vs Kazuchika Okada Wrestle Kingdom 11 Womens Match: Bayley vs Sasha Banks NXT Takeover Brooklyn 1
  7. This match was very good. I don’t think the actual work-rate was ever the focus here, but more-so the focused on Punk just being back here. Darby bumped like a madman here for Phil, and CM Punk showed he still has a lot in the tank. There’s some interesting possibilities for Punk here, and perhaps they can have Bryan and Punk finally team up. Also, hopefully Punk goes back to his trunks because this attire certainly wasn’t the best, but it really doesn’t matter I guess.
  8. This was a good match. As Brenden already expressed, they were already in a tough spot as they had to follow Punk/Allin, as well as the Tag Team Cage Match from earlier on. They worked hard and I thought this was really good. It’s a shame the crowd was tired from all the other stuff that had gone on previously, but the debuts of Cole and Bryan were really cool. Cole being in The Elite before eventually turning on Kenny is a great possibility, so AEW have a lot of things they can do now.
  9. There wasn’t much to watch here, or let alone talk about besides Lashley dominating Cedric and Shelton, Keith being relegated to a job guy since he tried to trademark his real name, and the bad ending. A major drop from last week, and it’s more than obvious that Lashley and MVP are carrying the show. When the major focus is on someone else in terms of RAW, it suffers. This was no more than filler garbage.
  10. This match served its purpose of making Bobby look like a beast ahead of his match against Bill Goldberg. Having Lashley go 15-20 Minutes with Kofi would hurt his aura, especially when Brock destroyed him. It sucks that Kofi had to look like a joke, but I think it’ll soon be all the more worthwhile when Big E cashes in on Bobby Lashley. Goldberg vs Lashley is the next best thing to Lashley/Lesnar, so whatever I guess.
  11. This match was very fun and definitely better than we expected. Styles and Omos were going to retain nonetheless, but unlike their WrestleMania Match against New Day, this was competitive. Omos worked like a giant, and Styles took the majority of the bumps here. Raiders look good in defeat and this was very cool. Styles is (no pun intended) phenomenal and is definitely helping Omos improve, as this performance was much better than the one at Mania. Omos and Styles vs RK-Bro is probably next up, and it should be really good.
  12. This match was very fun, and probably the best match without interferences of the night. Flair played a great heel, flipping the crowd off as they chanted for Becky, but ultimately gaining their respect when finally winning. Rhea’s reign was average, but this feud was so weirdly set up by WWE that it was hard to be invested. They had great chemistry in a match that was close to on par with their match from WrestleMania. I think they’ll do Flair/Lynch at SummerSlam, which should be fun. However, Rhea was really confusing here, one second high fiving fans, then poking fun at them.

  15. I think this should be a banger if they get around 15 Minutes, given the talent in the ring. A shame this is on the kickoff, as I think they could easily switch this with the RAW Tag Team Title Match. The Mysterios should probably win this match due to Uso’s recent DUI, but WWE will probably ignore this and keep moving along as it if never happened. For those reason, I’ve got The Usos winning. Now that The Bloodline are all on the same page, this is the perfect opportunity to have them all hold championship gold. Expect an Usos win, alongside a dominant reign to follow it up.
