SFW Monthly Review and Preview

Recap

Cixpp3Tz7dSPV-1xoETc16ED4epTpevPo-3W756M

This month SFW had one of it’s best shows of the year to finish of the year. SFW Winter Warfare was the main talk with the Winter Warfare match having qualifiers all month long with the match itself being won by BIC who lastly eliminated Yelich Anderson. As well as that taking place at Winter Warfare we also watched every champion on the roster retain their champions except for Mil Almas who retained his title the week before hand. Strike Force also had a pretty bad night losing out almost all their matches except for Adam Masters who managed to keep a hold of his title but was then attacked by the debuting Julius Jones. Julius Jones will make his in ring debut this friday night on SFW friday night carnage.

SFW Wrestler of the Month

Vjf9DgwUh-gFzSXgwg0kdEbiJgpNsa1M3AAJIl6L

As voted by the SFW fans Angelo Catio is the SFW Wrestler of the month. Throughout this month Catio started off quite slow not competing on the first 2 SFW Friday Night Carnage’s of the month however with a Victory over Former Continental Champion Tamer and defeating Daniel Vice in an Ironman match to become number one contender to the SFW World Championship he appears to have a lot of momentum going into goldrush.

Preview

Coming up this month in SFW we have the gold rush Pay-Per-View and we have two matches confirmed for the show already with BIC challenging for the SFW Television Championship and Angelo Catio challenging King Slim for the SFW World Championship. We also can confirm yet another special stipulation match with the Goldrush match being for a Main Event match at SFW Clash of The Titans in any match of the winners choosing. We can also confirm that this month every SFW Championship will be on the line and Champions will be ineligible for the Goldrush match however if a Champion loses their championship at Goldrush they will be eligible. We also can guarantee some unexpected names in the Goldrush match which will feature 20 participants.

OyevjII68btSGQOXs1KAaH3g-SxpbcJG52wAQCiE

To close the show SFW World Champion King Slim and Angelo Catio signed the contract for their match at Goldrush, King Slim was accompanied by Aidanator. During the Contract Signing Slim berated Catio saying he could never win the world title and the only reason he was a tag team champion was because of Daniel Vice. Catio would respond stating that the only Reason Slim is still world champion is because the roundtable of Excellence is still watching his back and because he continuously cheats to win in his matches. Slim would then respond that if Catio is so concerned with this why don’t they alter the contract to make it a stipulation match of Catio’s choosing. Catio agrees to this and asks for a Steel Cage match, Slim accepts. The two men sign the contract but afterwards, the entirety of the Roundtable of Excellence appear and Attack Angelo Catio. Carnage closes with Slim Standing tall over his challenger.

In an interesting four-way match to open up Saturday night battlefield the men in the lightweight championship match at Goldrush. The teams fiercely battled it out for dominance as the future starrs utilized high flying offence to take out their opponents, Strike force brutalized the other two teams with power moves and hard hitting strikes while the roundtable of excellence just utilized classic technical wrestling to take out their opponents. The Future Starrs to hit Cutler with the Starr Collider and Starr followed it up with a shooting Starr press to win the match for his team. After the match, Aidantor attacked both the future starrs allowing for Cutler to pick the bones then hit Long Live the Prince on Starr. After this though Overheel and Storm took advantage and dropped Aidantor first with a German Suplex Bullet Combo before grabbing Cutler and nailing him with a magic killer, Overheel would then pose with the lightweight title over Cutler and Starr’s fallen bodies.

jx4O4Lhd6U4wcs2sIGfmG9GTB9oGQS60yZeZs1IzuCTvbNtfYXvRg3TD3-48z8L7rUgQcQuyGMMkPx1B

The next match saw one half of the SFW World Tag Team Champions Connor Bramson take on one-half of the number one contenders to the previously mentioned titles Ryan Reeves, this match was also interesting as Jarrod Gardyner and Bart Johnson were not at ringside. The match was hard hitting and dangerous with the two men smashing each other with everything they had. As Reeves was about to go for the sanity breaker, Gardyner ran down to the ring and tried to distract Reeves but Johnson ran down behind him and pulled him off the apron hitting him with a German suplex. Reeves was about to go for a Sanity Breaker but Bramson hit Reeves with a corner big boot, he then grabbed him and set him up for Absolute Zero but Reeves countered it into a falcon arrow. Reeves went for the Sanity Breaker and this time hit it for the victory. Post-match the two teams brawled with the Anti Heroes getting the better of Ice Cold hitting stereo suicide dives on the tag team champs. The Anti Heroes would then pose with the tag team titles taunting Ice Cold.

Next, in what was a surprisingly short match Julius Jones teamed up with the recently re-enlightened Ropati to take on strike force, the match ended as soon as it began when Jones hit a KO punch on Clarke then following it up with a hells welcome for the victory. After the match, Jones went after Masters who ran like hell to get away from him, Ropati was left alone in the ring but suddenly the lights would go out and when they came back on Hollow would hit a madmen cutter on Ropati and then beat the living hell out of him around the ringside area before being pulled off by security who would also get attacked by Hollow, until he was finally taken down to the ground and handcuffed so he couldn’t attack anyone else. Hollow would yell at Ropati “I MADE YOU, YOU UNGRATEFUL SWINE” as he was dragged away.

Winners Via Pinfall: Ropati & Julius Jones! 4/10

0d12QEO9zymbbq9uONtP7VB7RoOfaScm3llrPMIGJJ5jKDYk_yAjhajOO5SLnvlw3FFg2N_4GOsLGprn

The main event of the evening was a proving ground match to see if Josh Scott would potentially move up to heavyweight division sooner than expected. He would take up the man who had previously moved up to heavyweight before Scott. The two men would throw everything at each other, using every move in their arsenals. Haskins with multiple roundhouse kicks, Scott with many very European uppercuts. The two men would exchange suplexes, bulldogs, clotheslines, big boots and DDTs. Scott even hit Great Scott on Haskins but he got his foot on the rope before the 3 count. The match came to an end when Scott went for a spear but it was countered by Haskins into a standing double stomp followed up by a Moonstomp and finally into a stretch muffler, Scott would have no choice but to tap out from the pain. After the match, Haskins would offer a handshake to Scott which Scott would accept, Tamer would then appear at the top of the stage clapping for both men. Haskins would then look at him intensely, Scott meanwhile would then get on the mic and then challenge Tamer to a match on Friday Night Carnage next week, Tamer agreed nodding his head and then would say off-mic that he’d finish him off much faster than Haskins did.

Opening Match: Tamer VS Josh Scott

To open up the show we had a match that was made on the latest episode of Saturday Night Carnage Tamer took on Josh Scott to open up the show. Scott surprised Tamer to open up the match hitting him with some high impact moves. He even caught Tamer off guard with a very European uppercut but Tamer managed to get away before Scott could capitalize. The match continued with Tamer managing to regain some ground but it was quite even surprisingly with Scott having a counter for everything in Tamer’s Arsenal… until Tamer was finally able to hit the lumbar check. After the Lumbar Check, Tamer began hitting neck breaker and DDT galore on Scott before finishing him off with Terminal Velocity. After the match, Tamer looked to continue to punish Scott but Haskins would come out and stop him. The two men would then stare down as Haskins would help Scott back to his feet. Tamer would look at the two of them, then he’d knod and walk away.

Winner: Tamer! 7/10

Match 2: Yelich Anderson & Ropati VS Hollow & Bobby Gregory

The next match pitted The most outspoken man in SFW Yelich Anderson and the biggest underdog in SFW Ropati against the raving lunatic Hollow and the up and coming brutal Rookie Bobby Gregory. The match was interesting but it essentially became a singles match when Hollow went after Ropati and the two brawled all the way to the back leaving Gregory alone with Anderson. The two would return towards the end of the match with Ropati attempted to deliver a Sweet Chin Music to Hollow but would counter it and then hit a madness clash on Ropati in the middle of the ring however Gregory and Anderson were the legal men and Anderson took out Hollow and Gregory with a double Mic Check Before following it up with an Anderbomb on Gregory for the victory. After the match, Hollow continued to assault Ropati brutally and then said that he would to Ropati that he’d be the maddest man left standing at Goldrush. Anderson would then get on the mic and say he didn’t know what that was about but that he would win the goldrush match as he had previously said, FDHogan would then come out and he’d tell Anderson that while he respected his courage he feels that Anderson has constantly come so close to winning every big match he’s in so if Anderson really wants to prove he can get it done, He will have the challenge of a lifetime entering in from the Number 1 Spot.

Winners: Ropati & Yelich Anderson! 7/10

Match 3: Bart Johnson VS Jarrod Gardyner

In a match that pitted the other half of the tag team champions Jarrod Gardyner against the other half of the number one contenders Bart Johnson. The two men threw everything they had at each other and more with Johnson hitting multiple foundation rocking strikes and Gardyner utilizing the Lightweight style moves he had in his arsenal even managing to hit a 450 splash. The match ended when Gardyner attempted a Concussion Protocol but Johnson Countered it into a falcon arrow, Gardyner would then get up only to eat a superkick then get dropped on his head with a double arm DDT to end the match. After the match, Gardyner would yell that the Anti Heroes would not take the tag titles from The Roundtable of excellence.

Winner: Bart Johnson! 7/10

In the semi-Main Event of the evening Strike Force’s Nathan Clarke & Brett Storm took on The Number One Contender to the Continental Championship Julius Jones & Prince Jack III. The match was not as Brief as Julius’ Previous encounter against Strike Force as they assaulted Jack and Julius before the match could start. Strike Force would focus the bulk of their attack on Julius attempting to take him out of the match and isolate Jack but the problem with that is that Jack is a former SFW World Champion. Jack would actually manage to give the two men a run for their money despite being alone but once Jones had recovered he entered the match and begin beating the hell out of strike force. Jones would then be about to hit a hells welcome on Storm but would be smashed in the back of the head with a steel chair by continental champion Adam Masters. Overheel would then join the rest of Strike force as they beat down Jones and Jack but they would be chased off by The Future Starrs who would challenge Strike Force to an 8 man tag team match at Saturday Night Battlefield. Strike Force Accepted.

Winners Via Disqualifications: Prince Jack III & Julius Jones! 6/10

In the main event of the evening, it was the champions VS The Number One Contenders as the Roundtable of Excellence took on Angelo Catio & BIC. The match began with a High Octane pace as BIC started things off against King Slim in which BIC was vicious towards him as he was the leader of the group that kicked him out. The two teams would battle it out nailing each other with everything they had. BIC hitting multiple running Knees and Jumping STOs, Catio hitting a double five knuckle Shuffle, King Slim and Mil Almas throwing out Superkicks left and right. The match finally concluded after an FU from Catio to Slim on the Apron took Slim out of the match allowing for BIC to take control of Almas and Nail him with No Regret to pin the SFW World Television Champion. After the match, there was a handshake between Catio and BIC with BIC looking quite intense towards Catio during the handshake.

Winners: Angelo Catio & BIC! 8/10
