Afbeeldingsresultaat voor 205 live start date

WWE 205 Live,[3] also simply called 205 Live, is a live professional wrestling WWE Network series produced by WWE, which exclusively features the promotion's cruiserweight division, wherein all participants are billed at a weight of 205 lbs. or less.

The show premiered on November 29, 2016, and airs following SmackDown Live. Talking Smack, which previously held the 10:00pm eastern time slot, moved to 11:00pm eastern following the debut of 205 Live.

The show specifically features the wrestlers who competed in the Cruiserweight Classic tournament and others who have become full-time members of WWE's cruiserweight division. As described by WWE executive, producer, and wrestler Paul "Triple H" Levesque, the program is designed to serve as a showcase for the division, with its own distinctive feel and style compared to other WWE programming.

The Raw brand was originally established as the exclusive home of the division during the 2016 brand extension, but following the premiere of 205 Live, the cruiserweight wrestlers appear on both Raw and 205 Live, as well as making occasional appearances on NXT.

The show premiered on November 29, 2016; the main event of the inaugural episode saw Rich Swann defeating The Brian Kendrick for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Anywhere else I would be hyped for Noam Dar vs Cedric Alexandar. It would be a awesome match if they could do what they wanted and were not limited to headlocks and more headlocks. Noam Darr made it to WWE but he mine as well not even be here cause rn it does not seem like he is. As much as I hate to say it I think some of the guys should of stayed in the indies if the Cruiserweights are getting treated this way. What they need to do is treat them like the X Divison where they get cool match types and are pretty much spot monkeys. You can make the matches all grappling but atleast add something different to it. So that's all I gotta say and I hope they treat the CWC right

Well finally Gran Metalik makes his return/debut whatever. He botched a move early on in the match and I thought it was going downhill from there and was worried for him. But he kept going and he turned it around and did some awesome stuff. He really is great and a joy to watch in the ring and one of the few high flying guys I genuinely am interested in. I hope he goes far in WWE.

This was a really good show. I thought it was weird Swann just returned without stating any claim for the Cruiserweight Championship, hopefully he's given a rematch in the coming weeks to close off that feud. Gran Matelik I think has a great future in the Cruiserweight Division and WWE. He was treated like a pretty big deal last night and I hope to see him challenge and face Neville because that match would be sweet. I also really liked the interview/back and forth segment between Neville and Rich Swann, I get pretty into it and it gave some actual hype to a Main Event that was fairly predictable and already seen a few times before. Great show overall.

Also his early botch was quite ironic considering he his the "King of the Ropes". :lol

Good show, not really great but some good action. Kendrick vs Tozawa was too short in my opinion once again but obviously it's all leading to a big blow off match between the two. I'm really liking the feud but I wonder where Tajiri fits into this as I'm pretty sure he's feuding with Kendrick as well.
