Money in the Bank

The majority owner of WWE Dreams Sting, RAW GM Paul Heyman, and SDL GM Lana dropped a bombshell of an announcement leading into the Money in the Bank PPV. First of all, there will be 3 MITB Ladder Matches. One will feature 8 male Superstars from RAW, one will feature 8 male Superstars from SDL, and one will feature 8 female Superstars (4 RAW & 4 SDL). Standard rules apply for the women. The major announcement was that in both of the men’s matches, there will be 4 MITB briefcases! Each corner of the ring will hold a briefcase that will require a ladder to retrieve. 3 of the briefcases will contain Money in the Bank contracts for the RAW/SDL Tag Team Titles, UK/US Titles, and the Universal/WWE Titles that the possessor can cash in with anytime they desire. However, the 4th briefcase is not so lucky as it contains a pink slip! It’s Feast or Fired! Is the risk worth the reward? Find out at Money in the Bank!

Clash of Champions - 2.75 Stars. Shocked AJ and Nakamura both lost but pairing Cass with DiBiase is a good idea. It seems Carmella is being completely removed from the title scene and I would move Nikki into the scene by having her beat Natalya and Charlotte and having Nikki take the belt off Beth. Meanwhile, I see The Bar beating Hardy Boyz and moving onto American Alpha, and as for the main event, good match. I see Cass/Nakamura feuding and Clash of Champions - 2.75 Stars. I agree with everyone else in that match except the Hardy Boyz, and it seems Lesnar won't defend at MITB

Extreme Rules - 3.5 Stars. I thought Paige should be facing Sasha and not Alexa, but Paige winning was the right move and it's good your having her face Asuka next. I expect The Wyatt Family to beat The Bludgeon Brothers and then face Titus Brand. As for the UK Title, I expect Rollins to defend against Joe at some point and move Bryan on to other things. Great main event and Zayn/Ziggler match.

MITB - Already said I don't agree with The Hardy's being in the match, would've had it be 6 man. I also wouldn't have put Joe in MITB, I would've had him face Rollins.

Predictions

Roode

Cass

Charlotte

Roman

Angle

American Alpha

Asuka

Interesting that it's no longer Feast or Fired but still interesting that someone could be fired. As a question what happened to NXT?

You ruined the surprise! JK. It’s still around, I just haven’t been posting anything about it. But there is an NXT PPV right before MITB and I do plan on posting results to that. Curt Hawkins is still the NXT Champion, Ember Moon is the Women’s Champion, #DIY are the Tag Champs, and the Cruiserweight Champion is Neville.

Money in the Bank

The first match was the RAW men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match between Finn Bálor, Bobby Roode, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe, and John Cena. In the end, Roode and Cena climbed separate ladders and without taking their eyes off each other, retrieved the two briefcases.

The second match was for the RAW Women’s Championship between Paige and Asuka. Paige would retain her title via a leverage pin.

The third match was for the United States Championship between Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One would take back his title via a Phenomenal Forearm.

The fourth match was the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match featuring Superstars from RAW and SDL. Sasha Banks would live up to her name and capture the Money in the Bank briefcase.

The fifth match was for the Universal Championship being defended by The Miz against Roman Reigns. The Miz would retain via a Skull-Crushing Finale after Roman hit a turnbuckle exposed by Miz earlier in the bout.

The sixth match was for the SDL Tag Team Championship. The Bar defeated American Alpha.

Renee Young interviewed Roman Reigns, asking him about his match. Roman said Miz will get what’s coming to him. Batista walked by and told Roman to watch the next match to see what a winner looks like.

The seventh match was the SDL men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match between Goldberg, Randy Orton, Rob Van Dam, Big Cass, Matt and Jeff Hardy, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Batista. Matt Hardy had already took possession of one briefcase and Jeff Hardy looked to follow in his brother’s footsteps. He climbed a ladder, but with one finger on the case, Jeff Hardy was pushed off the ladder by Big Cass who then pulled it down.

Quick results:

Bobby Roode, John Cena

Paige

AJ Styles

Sasha Banks

The Miz

The Bar

Matt Hardy, Big Cass

Lead-up to Great Balls of Fire (RAW)

The contents of the briefcases held by Bobby Roode and John Cena were revealed. Inside Roode’s was a

contract for a title match

and inside Cena’s was a

pink slip

. Paul Heyman immediately fired Cena. Bobby Roode and The Miz were talking in the locker room about how they switched the briefcases because Miz somehow saw the contents beforehand and Roode actually had the pink slip. Renee Young came in to interview The Miz and revealed to them that the cameras and microphones that were set up for the interview had been on and rolling the whole time. This led to majority owner Sting opening an investigation to find out how Miz saw what was inside the briefcases. He reinstated John Cena and tried to give him a title match at GBOF but Cena said he wanted to earn it all over again. Sting obliged and booked a Triple Threat Match for GBOF between John Cena, Roman Reigns, and Finn Bálor. The winner will face The Miz for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam. He also put Bobby Roode in a match at GBOF against Sami Zayn with the briefcase on the line.

After losing the RAW Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules, The Bludgeon Brothers disappeared. Titus O’Neil and Apollo became the new contenders and will face Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt at Great Balls of Fire.

Sasha Banks announced she will be cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam. That left RAW Women’s Champion Paige without a challenger at GBOF. A women’s Battle Royal took place to determine her opponent which Nia Jax won.

After they all failed to capture the Money in the Bank contract, Samoa Joe, Daniel Bryan, and Kevin Owens eyed Seth Rollins and his United Kingdom Championship. A Fatal 4-Way was booked for the title at GBOF.

Lead-up to Battleground (SDL)

With a win over the former SDL Women’s Champion Carmella at Clash of Champions, Nikki Bella earned herself a shot at the title and that shot is coming at Battleground against Beth Phoenix. Meanwhile, the rest of the SDL women are looking to move back up the ranks as Carmella teams with Natalya to face Naomi and Charlotte Flair.

American Alpha demanded a rematch against The Bar at Battleground but SDL General Manager Lana had other challengers in mind. *ahem* Aiden English and RUSEVVVVVV DAAAAAAY! Meanwhile, The New Day told American Alpha that if they’re looking for a fight at Battleground, then they’d be happy to give them one.

They’ve been trading the United States Title back and forth for months. Will it continue at Battleground when AJ Styles defends against Kurt Angle?

As announced earlier this season, there will be a Battle Royal taking place at Battleground with the winner challenging Brock Lesnar in the main event for the WWE Championship. Find out at Battleground who is in the Battle Royal and who will take on Brock Lesnar.

At Money in the Bank, SDL’s Batista and RAW’s Roman Reigns had some words that led to a tweet from Roman that Batista was asked to comment on. Batista told Roman to watch his mouth and watch his step because he has no idea who he’s dealing with.

It’s time to reveal who has the Money in the Bank contract and who is fired. Big Cass’ briefcase holds the

contract

and Matt Hardy is

fired!

Big Cass would tell Matt that he’s been deleted before viciously attacking him. Jeff Hardy would make the save and then join the WWE Dreams Universe in saying goodbye to his brother. Big Cass’ manager Ted DiBiase presented Cass with the Million Dollar Championship and informed everyone to cash in on Big Ca$$!

The Usos defeated Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel

Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss

Seth Rollins defeated Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe - STILL United Kingdom Champion

Bobby Roode defeated Sami Zayn via interference by The Miz and Maryse

Nia Jax climbed the second rope looking to splash onto the Women’s Champion but Paige prevented that and then dropped The Irresistible Force with a Super Ram-Paige - STILL RAW Women’s Champion Paige

Sting banned Bobby Roode and The Miz from interfering in the next match.

Finn Bálor sprung off the rope but John Cena dodged the attack and the referee took it instead. Cena picked Finn up and dropped him with an Attitude Adjustment! But right after, Cena was Speared by Roman Reigns! Roman went for the cover but the ref was still down. He went over and revived him but when he turned around, Batista was in the ring! The Animal gave Reigns the Batista Bomb before leaving. Finn climbed to the top rope and hit Roman with a Coup de Grace but then received another AA by Cena. John covered Roman and won the match!

The main event was next and it was for the RAW Tag Team Championship. After weeks of manipulation and mind control, Braun Strowman broke free of Bray Wyatt and went against The Eater of Worlds. This would lead to Titus O’Neil and Apollo winning the titles! Great Balls of Fire ended with Strowman Powerslamming Bray through the announce table.

Battleground

Battle Royal Order of Elimination:

RVD by Batista

Goldberg by Randy Orton

Jeff Hardy by Randy Orton

Shinsuke Nakamura by Batista

Randy Orton by Batista

Batista wins and will face Brock Lesnar in the main event.

In the SDL Women’s Championship Match, Nikki Bella defeated Beth Phoenix. Here’s how: when Beth and the ref weren’t looking, Nikki switched out with her twin sister Brie Bella who was hiding under the ring. This was her first appearance since Royal Rumble. Brie rolled up Beth who was caught off guard and won the match and the title for her sister. Twin magic!

AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle - STILL United States Champion

The Bar defeated Rusev Day - STILL SDL Tag Team Champions

Mr. Money in the Bank Big Ca$$ was interviewed and asked about when he might cash in for the WWE Championship. He asked who said anything about the WWE Title? The contract says for any championship. Big Ca$$ teased showing up on RAW.

The New Day defeated American Alpha

In the main event, Batista had Brock Lesnar beat but yet another referee had been taken out. Batista revived him but when he turned around, he was Speared by Roman Reigns! The Big Dog took off and Lesnar capitalized with an F-5 to win the match! - STILL WWE Champion Brock Lesnar

GBOF: 3.5/5. A great show Legend. First, what happened to the Bludgeon Brothers title shot? Thought they would get a rematch. Also surprised UK wasn't 1 on 1. Meanwhile, thought Paige would defend against Sasha or Asuka but never mind. Also shocked at the main event. But everything else on the card was perfect, I mean what a match the NOC was. Cena/Miz should be a amazing at SummerSlam but I see Miz retaining but being turned on by Roode. Now Strowman and Wyatt are no longer together, guessing The Bludgeon Brothers feud with the Wyatt's, whilst I see Paige defending against Sasha whilst Nia faces Asuka in a NOC match. Also expecting to see Rollins retain over Joe once and for all.

Battleground: 4/5 Surprised you had Nikki and Rusev Day as next challengers. However a great PPV. A SummerSlam contest between Reigns and Batista would be great, whilst I see Lesnar moving on to feud with Angle, RVD, Orton and Goldberg. Meanwhile, The Bar have New Day and I see Rusev Day feuding with American Alpha. As for the Women's a great match and Nikki winning sets up a Fatal 4 Way between her, Natalya, Charlotte and Beth. As for US, Shinsuke is available for Styles. Anyway a great show

Great job with this legend just caught up keep up the great work Hawkins I see great Nzt Champion but was hoping for Elias  or Black to capture it. Lars Sullivan no doubt I see dominant, so no surprise with that win over Itam. Roderick Storng still champion, I'm surprise even that Neville didn't out take him with the aerial offense but Stormg most likely used his backbreakers very effectively. Nikki Cross Sutton Nxt Women's Champion, great job by her not going to lie was hoping for and ember moon or Becky Lynch win. Ruby Riott let's go beats a veteran like Mickie James.Snaity is dominant like always great win and not surprising at all win against the Hype Bros. DIY Falls- Let's be homes to we all say this comment I'm happy about that gives more room for the two to grow as single  competitors.

SummerSlam Build-up

Part 1

Majority owner Sting issued his first State of WWE Dreams Address. He focused on several issues that have come up since WrestleMania. These issues include the RAW Money in the Bank and SDL Women’s Championship controversy, unprofessional officiating, General Managers playing favoritism, and Superstars not receiving the opportunities they deserve. Sting promised the WWE Dreams Universe that things will change and it all begins with management. He fired Paul Heyman and Lana and announced that new General Managers will be named after SummerSlam. He said that he wanted to punish The Miz and Bobby Roode for switching the Money in the Bank briefcases but John Cena told him not to. Cena said he’ll do the punishing when he faces The Miz at SummerSlam. As for the SDL Women’s Championship, the referee’s decision is final but he did a find a way to make sure what happened at Battleground doesn’t happen again. As for the referees, they will now be watched very closely and evaluated much more often. Sting apologized to the fans but promised a better experience going forward and that begins now. Sting feels like the United States and United Kingdom Championships limit the audience. Therefore, at SummerSlam, it will be Champion vs Champion, AJ Styles vs Seth Rollins, a Unification Title Match, the winner becomes the new Intercontinental Champion.

SummerSlam Build-up

Part 2

Beth Phoenix challenged Nikki Bella to a rematch at SummerSlam for the SDL Women’s Title and to ensure nothing like what happened at Battleground happens again, this match will be a Lumberjill Match.

Sasha Banks announced she is cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam against RAW Women’s Champion Paige who has been on a roll since returning at and winning the Royal Rumble. She defeated Alexa Bliss on multiple occasions for the title and defended it against the likes of Asuka, Nia Jax, and even Sasha Banks before. The Boss said this time will be different. Paige said the result will be the same every time: STILL RAW Women’s Champion...Paige.
