Makes sense for Mysterio to return to Smackdown on its most important episode considering that he was a big part of Smackdown during the mid 2000's. Randy Orton's current gimmick about going after fan favourites seems like it was designed to be Mysterio's first feud back in WWE. It should be great to see Rey back in WWE altogether and hopefully he can stay healthy this time

An Orton Mysterio feud would be epic

John Pollock of Post Wrestling is reporting that Bobby Lashley‘s heelish attack on Kevin Owens was likely to give Owens some time off to knee surgery. While the surgery is expected to be minor and Owens’ length away from the ring is believed to be a short one, Pollock later updated to say that’s it’s currently unknown the extent of Owens’ injury and WWE officials won’t truly know a timetable for a return until the knee gets looked at.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been working with a cracked jaw. Not many details were fully elaborated on other than the injury itself, as Lynch has wrestled twice in major title matches recently against Charlotte Flair. She will defend the Women’s Championship against Flair in a Last Woman Standing Match at WWE Evolution, on Oct. 28.

WWE Executive VP of Talent Triple H has suffered what is being reported as a torn pectoral muscle. Triple H suffered the injury when teaming with his long-time DX partner Shawn Michaels against The Brothers of Destruction at today’s Saudi Arabian Crown Jewel pay-per-view.

According to WWE.com, Triple H will return to the United States this week where he plans to undergo surgical repair. Triple H appeared to have suffered the injury during Crown Jewel, as he looked to be in a significant amount of pain during the match. Triple H also appeared to be favoring the right side of his upper body over the other. He was able to hit The Pedigree and cover Kane for the pinfall; however, when he and Shawn Michaels celebrated their victory, his right arm hung awkwardly at his side.

When John Cena tore his pectoral muscle in late 2015, he was given a recovery time of nine months; however, was back in the ring in five months. Of course, that is John Cena and is atypical of the average recovery time. Depending on the severity of his injury, Triple H may be facing the possibility of being out of action until next year’s SummerSlam build.

According to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Braun Strowman is set for elbow surgery this Monday in Birmingham, Alabama. As was made clear, he does have a legitimate elbow injury which was brought into storylines to enhance his feud with Baron Corbin and give him a possible out for taking an extensive amount of abuse at the TLC pay-per-view in their TLC match. The hope is that this is a minor injury and can be worked around quickly.

Strowman is currently slated to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at the 2019 Royal Rumble if he defeats Corbin at TLC. In the storyline, he’s said to have a ‘shattered elbow’ the hope is he’ll recover quickly and appear even more miraculous and superhuman. However, until they perform the surgery this week, they won’t have a clear-cut idea of what they’ll be able to plan for Braun.

Kairi Sane posted the following on Twitter revealing that she believes she somehow caught the coxsackie virus, also known hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD). Below is Sane’s Tweet along with translation below:

"

Although high fever went down, I have a mysterious eczema in hands, feet and mouth this time …

Ouch Do you go to the hospital [hand foot / mouth disease] for it? ! (Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease as it is in the United States)

If it’s a disease that infants under 5 years old are examined for, why did did the virus get in my body by mistake? Lol"

According to the Mayo Clinic, it is a short term virus that resolves after 7-10 days, and symptoms can include fever, sore throat, and loss of appetite, in addition to ulcers, rashes and blisters around the mouth, hands, feet, legs and buttocks. It’s in no relation to foot-and-mouth disease. Typically it effects children 10 years or younger, but anyone can contract the virus. The virus can stay in someone’s body for several days or weeks, but the best way to prevent spreading it is to wash your hands and practice good hygiene.

Unfortunate for her, hope it doesn't turn into anything serious and she can return to the ring after a full recovery. An amazing talent who is being featured pretty heavily in NXT's Women's division

That's really annoying for her, hope she can have a speedy recovery and come back!

Alexa Bliss was taken out of action because she suffered too many concussions in a short period of time. It is an unfortunate trend in WWE as they continue to focus on the health of their performers in a more focused fashion. Mark Henry said on Busted Open Radio that Alexa Bliss is ready to go, cleared, and she could start back tomorrow. Unfortuantely, that is not the case.

Bryan Alvarez revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that he has been told Bliss is taking it much slower than Henry led on. He also explained exactly what kind of bumps Bliss has been taking at the WWE Performance Center as she trains for her eventual return.

“What I heard about Alexa Bliss is she will probably remain out until Royal Rumble. Watch her wrestle next week on RAW, but anyway, that’s what I was told.”

“The Performance Center has a bunch of rings, but one of the rings they’ve got, the entire ring is a crash pad. So when you hear that Alexa Bliss is taking light bumps and that sort of thing, she’s not even bumping in a real ring right now. At least as of last week, she was taking bumps on the crash pad and they were making sure she could bump on a crash pad without I guess ending up with vertigo.”

He noted that it is a “bad situation there” where Bliss is concerned and later confirmed that she has not been cleared for an in-ring return.

Hopefully, she will make it back to the ring soon. In the meantime, she will still be on RAW and able to work the road in a non-wrestling role if the company wants her to. Her training is important though and she’s taking it step by step.

If Alexa Bliss must take bumps on a crash pad at the WWE Performance Center for the next couple of months, then so be it. The important part is that Alexa Bliss will make her return when she’s totally ready.

I hope that Alexa is able to make a recovery in time because despite mixed feelings on her as a wrestler from some she is entertaining and too young to have a career cut short like this. It seems the women in WWE lately have had a string of bad luck with injuries.

Talking about the women i remember reading a while back that Trish and Lita were going to be return to Raw on and off regularly after their Raw match after Evolution but that ended after one week. Hopefully they do have a short return with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship being discussed on TV recently.

RAW is struggling with Heel's especially in the Women's division so an Alexa return is badly needed. It was a definite scare to see how bad these concussions were and hopefully they take their time with her and bring her back when she is 100% ready. As Arius said, she is way to young to have her career cut short from injury

There is no way to say "on the bright side" here with an injury so potentially serious but hopefully during this time they allow Ruby Riott to be elevated because she has the potential to be a bigger heel if she isn't always just messing with the catering area with her friends. Mickie James is at least a heel who is good in the ring but outside of those two as far as star power goes you're right it is lacking.

If it wasn't for the incoming women's tag team championships i'd be praying for Sasha to finally turn back to a heel.

Yeah Sasha should just turn on Bayley for good, I'm getting sick and tired of seeing them together, just split them and Sasha the big star she was two years ago and absolutely destroy the division.
