How Would You Book WWE (2018) In TEW 2016

Recommended Posts

How would you book WWE in Total Extreme Wrestling 2016 in the year of 2018? They are in a down slope as of this moment and they really need to step up their game since NXT (their developmental show) is a lot better than the main roster shows (Raw and SmackDown). There are  other companies that have been wiping the floor with them by having great matches and great angles to build up their rivalries which are more superior to what we have now.

Smackdown Live: AJ is still champ for storyline’s sake. AJ is attacked by Daniel and The Bar and are saved by Gallows and Anderson, which sets up a tag later tonight. Towards the end of the match AJ is building up momentum and Sheamus ends up in the corner. AJ goes for a forearm in the corner but Sheamus moves, and AJ starts to run towards the other corner but gets dropkicked into the turnbuckle by a man who’s wearing a hood. The ref naturally calls for the bell and the man in the hood starts pummeling AJ until Gallows and Anderson pull him off. They start arguing and then AJ looks up. Gallows looks at AJ, then the hooded guy, then at Karl. Then he knees AJ in the gut and him & Karl hit the Magic Killer. Then the hooded guy goes up to the top rope and hits the Coupe De Grace. He then removes his hood and it’s Finn Balór (surprise, I know). They then all too sweet and leave. The next week Finn comes and says that he’s sick of being second fiddle to guys like Brock who only show up once a month, and guys like AJ who obviously have corporate backing. He’s sick of playing the nice guy, the guy who everyone cheers but deep down believes won’t win. He says he’s done with being the nice guy, and more importantly, done with the fans. All the people who pretended to be his friends were just using him to get to the top. The only two people he can trust are his brothers, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. He says next that the Balór Club is coming in full force, and that no one will be able to stop it. Later on that night The Club faces The Usos for the #1 contendership. The Usos try to hit the double Uce(worst move name ever) but Finn pushes one of them down when the ref isn’t looking and Karl hits the catching Gun Stun and pins one of them. The next week is the week before TLC. Finn starts off again, this time with Gallows and Anderson. He then called out AJ and says he’s not leaving until he gets his match for the title at TLC. Then AJ comes out and says  that he has his match. Then Finn says he wasn’t done. He wants AJ in a TLC match, well unless he’s too chicken. AJ accepts and then Finn stops him one more time. Then AJ throws a clothesline at Fin but Finn ducks and hits a Pelé kick. Then he picks him up and hits a Bloody Sunday and then mock pins AJ and poses with the title. On Sunday The Bar and The Club throw down and have an amazing match, and it ends with a top rope Magic Killer. Meanwhile Drew beats Brock, Dean beats Seth, AOP retains but who cares honestly, and Shinsuke loses the US title via roll-up to Tye Dillinger. Now to the main event. Finn comes out as the demon, and the match straight away is very fast paced starting off with Finn Topé Con Hilo-ing on to AJ. AJ tried to repeat the springboard 450 splash from 2016 TLC but Finn moves and Finn hits a Coupe De Grace off the top of the ladder but he’s too worn out to pin him. A while later AJ is ready to hit the Phenomenal Forearm but gets caught with a punch. It’s Buddy Murphy. He hits him with Murphy’s Law and drags Finn on top of AJ and Finn wins.

More coming soon!

Next night. The Club and Buddy Murphy come out. Finn berates the crowd, says that they should be applauding and cheering them for what happened last night. He says he ridded the WWE of the same old AJ Styles matches every payperview, the same old endings, he just had a little bit of backup. He said that he warned all of you that the Balór Club was coming in full force, and none of you should be surprised. Then Buddy Murphy gets on the mic. He says that even with the Cruiserweight title he was under treated, and he knew that if he stayed at 205, he would’ve ended up like Hideo Itami, a man with incredible skill, but no opportunities until it was time for him to retire. And then Finn gave him an offer he couldn’t refuse. So he wasn’t sorry for what he did at TLC. He was proud, even. He then said that next, he would hold an open challenge to anyone in the back who though they had a chance. Cesaro come out and the match begins. The match stays even until Cesaro climbs the top rope to dive but Buddy pushes him onto the rope into a position similar to the clothesline dean does off the middle rope when his opponent is hung between the legs but Buddy hits a knee instead then picks him straight up and hits the Murphy’s Law and pins him for the three count. Finn comes out and says that if AJ is man enough he’ll come out next week and face him and Buddy in a tag match. Next week The Balór Club comes out in the semi-main event and faces the Usos in a rematch for the titles. The Usos get beat up most of the match, The Bar focuses a lot on Jey’s left shoulder, which he hurt and had to have surgically repaired two years ago. Jey caught Luke with a last ditch effort superkick, but both men went down. Then two men attacked Karl Anderson. One hits Karl with a Full Nelson GTS. (Most hardcore fans of this tag team will  know who I’m talking about. Then they hit a pop-up powerslam on Jimmy on the outside. Then they slide into the ring and hit Karl with a back suplex/Leg drop. Then they look up. It’s the War Raiders/War Machine. They then hold up the tag titles. Then Buddy and Finn come out and wait for AJ. AJ comes out with taped up ribs, looking pretty hurt. Then his tag partner comes out. It’s Jeff Hardy. He and AJ run into the ring and start a brawl with Finn and Buddy. The ref eventually gets control of the match. The Balór Club immediately target Styles’ ribs. This goes on for about half of the match. Any time AJ gets any offense Finn and Buddy have an answer for it. AJ finally gets the tag, and Jeff goes crazy. He takes out both men and then Buddy tries to hit the Murphy’s Law, but Jeff counters with a victory roll, and gets the pin. Jeff rolls out of the ring before Buddy can grab him, but AJ is still on the apron. Buddy grabs him and hits two Murphy’s Law and Finn hits the Coup De Grace. Finn stands over  AJ’s limp body and poses with the WWE title. It’s time for the Royal Rumble. The card starts with the new Cruiserweight champion being crowned. It’s Gran Metalik vs Tony Nese. Tony wins. Who gives a f about the raw tag division so let’s ignore that. The intercontinental title match is Elias (c) vs Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins. Dean wins. The US title is Rusev(c) vs Shinsuke. Rusev retains. Universal Title is Braun(c) (that piece of trash Brock never won it back.) vs Drew McIntyre. Drew picks up the belt. Now, the Smackdown Tag Title match has been changed to the Balór Club vs The Usos vs The War Raiders. The match goes for a long my mind and is a brawl for most of it and a spot fest for sure. The Fallout on Jey ends the match, so The Club wasn’t pinned for their titles. Onto the semi main event. Finn makes his entrance and looks pretty smug, as there has been speculation that AJ isn’t fit to compete after Tuesday’s beatdown. We cut to the back as Jeff and backstage officials are pleading AJ to not go out there, but he refuses and heads out to the ring. He seems really hurt, but when the bell rings he jumps Finn and tears off the tape around his ribs. Towards the end of the match AJ goes for the forearm but Finn pleads with AJ to stop. He sticks out his hand for a hand shake. Burn Cesaro is on the apron. He gets in the ring and Finn grabs a Balór Club shirt and offers it to Cesaro. Then the lights go out. Jeff Hardy is standing there then Finn drops AJ but Jeff attacks Finn. He goes up to the top rope and does the symbol thing he does. Then he points it as a gun towards AJ and hits a Swanton on him. He then helps Finn up and gives him his title. (For those wondering, I’m not doing Raw because it’s basically a lost cause.)

The first thing I would do is probably get rid of the Universal Championship. That title has no prestige at all. Although if starting in December 2018, I would probably have to sacrifice the Rumble to crown said World Heavyweight Champion.

The WWE Championship I would continue with Bryan vs Styles while building some people in the undercard to move up to it.

IC Championship is fine being in the Ambrose/Rollins feud. US I would have Nakamura feud with people on the midcard all the way to Mania and have him drop the title to Aleister Black likely.

The Tag Belts I would probably just unify them, you don't really have the Tag Teams to justify two belts, similar to the Women's (I'd rather the Women having Tag Belts and a main Singular title).

Cruiserweights are fine as it is, I would just feature them more.

That is how I see it title wise.

Hey guys, I’m gonna be doing this in multiple post now, instead of one. Here we go.

PT. 3

AJ opens the show this week, and is visibly upset. “Last night, I got stabbed in the back. By a man who was one of my best friends backstage. Who you people loved to see every week, who’s name you chanted, whose merchandise you bought. Jeff turned his back on all of us. So Jeff, get your a** out here right now!” Jeff’s music plays, but we don’t see Jeff. We wait about another minute or so, and Finn appears on the screen. “AJ, AJ, AJ. You really thought that Jeff would come out? You’re not in the right state of mind AJ. Go home, go see your kids, go see Wendy, I’m sure she’d love to have you home. I mean, it’s not like your doing much else.” AJ starts to walk out but gets turned around and kicked in the gut. Jeff hits him with a Twist of Fate and picks up AJ’s mic. “This, THIS is exactly why I did what I did last night. You. Are. Weak, AJ. You couldn’t see this coming you couldn’t see last night coming, let’s face it AJ you might as well retire. No one need you here. We have enough talent on the roster. You aren’t the “Phenomenal AJ Styles” anymore. You are nothing but a waste of space. Later that night is a number one contendership match to determine who faces Rusev for the US title at Elimination Chamber. It’s Buddy Murphy vs Cesaro vs Big E. Cesaro and Big E work together to take out Buddy early in the match. Cesaro locks in the sharpshooter but Buddy jumps on his back and locks in a Dragon Sleeper, leading Cesaro to let go of the sharpshooter on Big E and fall into the Dragon Sleeper. Cesaro is about to tap, but E picks up both of them and hits a belly to belly. E picks up Buddy for the Big Ending, but Murphy counters into a roll up and pins E.
