Oklahoma City Thunder

dVSsiISixr-cHSyPQifs4XSOwcOeOAifkCgCBNJQ

Following the re-signing of Paul George and with the pick up of Dennis Schroder the Thunder are at their strongest since the 2015/2016 season when they had Kevin Durant and while many think that the Thunder won’t be able to stack up against teams like the Warriors.

Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have formed one of the best teams in the history of the NBA including 5 different All-Stars. However, in the upcoming offseason 3 of their biggest stars contracts are coming up are the question I will be asking is what if the worst possible thing happened and all 3 of the stars left the Warriors leaving only Draymond Green and Steph Curry to try and lead the Warriors to glory.

Boston Celtics

Jhm8_oN6YraZnyOWiwCoLYCMFWD-br7dB36gKgiN

Due to the trade the Boston Celtics made with the Brooklyn Nets back in 2013 the now have formed a future dynasty with a mix of young stars in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown and experienced stars in Gordon Hayward, Al Horford, and Kyrie Irving but the question is not only can they make it to the NBA Finals but can they win it all?

1/27 Game Preview: Warriors at Celtics

Many are predicted the Celtics will fall in their next game as they faced the 1st seed in the west in the Golden State Warriors. After Demarcus Cousins returned to full fitness it seemed no one will be able to stop the Warriors but the Celtics will set out to change that thought on Saturday night.

Both Kyrie Irving and Al Horford will be returning to the starting line up after being rested in a win against the Cavaliers. While the Celtics are on a 5 game winning streak and a 10 game winning streak at home the Warriors are coming in on a 9 game winning streak and are looking unstoppable.

Let us know who you think will win and make sure to catch the game at 8:30 PM EST and 5:30 PM PST.

The Warriors gaining DeMarcus Cousins is deadly to any team that comes up against them. The danger that all 5 of their starters bring will be too much for the talented yet youthful celtics, The Warriors win this one comfortably with Boogie dominating Horford in the post

Golden State Warriors @ Boston Celtics

The Golden State Warriors are arriving in Boston on a 9 game winning streak looking to make it 10 while the Celtics look to raise there 5 game winning streak to 6.

The starting lineups for today's game are

image.png

The Warriors would win the tip off and score a quick bucket and then they would take over the game from there as they shot 67% from the field and 40% from 3 while the Celtics shots were very off as they only shot 30% from the field and 17% from 3. Not only did the Warriors dominate the Celtics in scoring they also dominated them in rebounds getting 17 rebounds to the Celtics's 8. All this domination lead to the Warriors being up 39-19

image.png

Going into the 2nd the Celtics knew they had to get back into this game and while at first, it looked they were going to the Warriors yet again took over with Kevin Durant starting to take over as he ends up dropping 25 points in the first half to extend the lead for the Warriors. The Celtics top scorer at the half was Kyrie Irving with only 11 points. all of this lead to the Warriors leading 76-51 going into the 2nd half

image.png

Right away in the 3rd quarter the Celtics chance to come back and win the game were increased due to the fact that curry got subbed off after only a minute due to getting a 5th foul. The Celtics finally figured out how to shot this quarter as they closed the gap between them and the Warriors. The Celtics shot 54% from the field and 50% from 3 while the Warriors shot 46% from the field and 0% from 3. But just as it seemed the Celtics were going to win this quarter they got too hungry for point and started to make silly fouls and put in the Warriors in the bonus and gave away 9 points as the Warriors shot 9 from 10 from the free throw this quarter. While all seemed lost for the Celtics Kyrie Irving with only 3 seconds left in the quarter got the ball and ran it up and shot a 3 on the buzzer and made it! Sadly even with that 3, the Celtics were still down by 26 with the score being 111-85

image.png

Sadly the Celtics saved there best performance for when it didn't matter as they shot 55% from the field and got 41 points but many spectators will say the Celtics could've won if Jayson Tatum could land more of his shots as Tatum missed 3 wide open 3'sand ended up with only 2 points in this quarter. Kyrie Irving went off in this quarter however getting 22 points but sadly it didn't matter as the Celtics lost 148-126 with the Player of the Game award goes to Kevin Durant with 36 points 9 rebounds and 7 assists

3/20 Game Preview: 76ers at Celtics

The Celtics are going into a huge match this Thursday against the Philadelphia 76ers with the winner of this match-up going into/staying in 4th and possibly 3rd depending on other results. The Celtics currently sit with the same record as the 76ers with 43-28 but the Celtics have a better head to head record thanks to them beating the 76ers back in February which puts them in 4th.

The Indiana Pacers and the Milwaukie Bucks who sit in 3rd and 2nd are only 1 or 2 wins ahead of the Celtics and 76ers so this game will decide a lot in the overall rankings with the Celtics wanting to try and push towards that 2nd seed. The big 3 of hilly will be hoping they are on the same page come Match Day and get a win against the Celtics. While the Celtics will be hoping Kyrie is yet again at his best and the rest of there team step up to help Kyrie and get the win.

Who Will Win? let us know and make sure to catch the game at 6 PM EST and 3 PM PST

Celtics have a bit too much depth to lose this one to philly. The problem with Philly is that the bench is pretty poor whereas Boston have some capable scorers coming off the bench. I think the starters for the sixers overpower Boston but at the end of the day having a solid bench matters and that's why Boston pick up a win here consolidating a top 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. Look for Embiid to dominate Horford though

Don't have to much to say but I do wanna say I've been enjoying this, amazing work Ropati. It all depends on how good the 79ers do early on with there starters if they can get the big enough lead, its over, its all up to the early game. But I think Celtics will pull up clutch

Philadelphia 76ers @ Boston Celtics

The Philadelphia 76ers enter Boston in a huge game with the winner going into 4th in the eastern conference with the same record as the Indiana Pacers who are in 3rd are 1 off the Milwaukie Bucks who sit in 2nd place.

The starting lineups for today's game are.

image.png

The Celtics would win the tip off and go onto to take over this quarter as Kyrie Irving would lead the charge for the Celtics they would shot 50% from the field and 50% from 3 which is a vast improvement from there shooting against teams like the Warriors. The 76ers also shot 50% from the field but they missed every shot they took from 3 but they made up for this shooting 6/6 from the free throw line.

image.png

Going into the 2nd quarter the Celtics would continue to take control of this game but there shooting would get worse as they would only shot 42% from the field and 36% from 3 but that was still better than the poor shooting from Philly who shot 38% from the field and 33% from 3. In terms of defense, the Celtics stepped up big time getting more steals and blocks than the 76ers with 6 steals and 2 blocks. Kyrie had an amazing 1st half getting 31 pts and due to all of this the Celtics lead 62-47 at the half

image.png

The 76ers had to be at there best in the 3rd quarter if they wanted any chance at winning but sadly they weren't as well there shooting was ok with it being 48% from the field and 60% from 3 they were getting to disperate and fouling to much when Kyrie drove to the basket. They ending up giving away 10 free throws of which 7 were made by the Celtics. What we really saw in this quarter and really in this whole match was that the Celtics bench was far superior in this match to Philly's with them in this quarter getting 21 pts while Philly's only got 8. Following this, the score was now 102-80

image.png

Most people thought this match was already over heading into the 4th quarter but if the 76ers want to have any chance they had to be on there A game offensively and defensively and while they were good offensively shooting 53% from the field and 43% from 3 and they got 44 points in the quarter but defense wise they were poor with Markelle Fultz fouling out early in the quarter and they then allowed the Celtics to get 38 points giving the Celtics W 140-126. Kyrie Irving got the POTG with 61 pts.
