2003/04 FULL SEASON RECAP:
While you wouldn't expect much to change as Lebron didn't affect that much this season, there were huge changes in the season and the effects of Lebron going to college are already starting to ripple through the league.

In the west just like in real life the Lakers dominated but this time they became the 1 seed in the west winning 65 games which was 7 more than they won in real life. Lead by the MVP of the league Shaquille O'Neal who averaged 28 pts 15 rebounds and 3.5 blocks, Plus with the help of the efforts of Kobe, Malone and Payton the Lakers are the easy bet to be champions with this super team. Also in the west the Nuggets struggled without a pure scorer in Carmelo Anthony and as Chris Bosh couldn't provide the same scoring as Melo the Nuggets lost 14 more games than they did in real life and no longer made the playoffs. In a big surprise the Suns wowed the NBA with there quick offence and even though they hadn't signed Steve Nash they still dominated winning 25 games more than they did in real life and came 2nd in the conference.

In the east wins were low as the Pacers just like real life top the east but with only 49 wins this time 12 wins less that they did in real life. Out of nowhere the Washington Wizards following the retirement of Micheal Jordon won 22 more games than they did in real life with 47 and came 2nd in the conference. In real life the Orlando Magic managed to go 21-61 with T Mac on there roster but now they win 24 more games than they did in real life and finish 45-37 which gets them 4th n the conference many people have said this was because of the great play from there superstar Tracy Mcgrady. In real life Cleveland with a rookie Lebron went 35-47 and missed out on the playoffs but this time with Rookie Dwayne Wade they somehow manage to win 6 more games and make the playoffs as the 8th seed. Despite not getting Chris Bosh the Raptors finish with the exact record as they did in real life finishing 33-49 and David West plays very well in his rookie season and even made the all rookie first team. Now Detroit actually do worse than they did in real life finishing 5th in the conference  as due to Melo putting up 25.5 pts and 7.1 rebounds they didn't end up trading for Rasheed Wallace and this means they end up worse than they were in real life.

In the playoffs history already was changed instantly as the Detroit Pistons despite great play from Melo lost in 5 to the Orlando Magic as Tracy Mcgrady went off and tore the Pistons apart. The New Jersey Nets managed to pull of the upset and beat the Wizards in the 1st round adding to everyones confusion of how they were a 2 seed all the other top seeds won there series. In the 2nd round the Pacers beat the Magic and the Nets beat Miami Heat and went on the the Conference Finals again. In the west The Suns advanced to the Conference Finals but the Dallas Mavericks pulled of a huge upset beating the 1 seed Lakers in 7 games. In the Conference Finals the Mavericks beat the Suns and the New Jersey Nets swept the Indiana Pacers sending them to the finals for the third time in the row. In the NBA Finals it was not third times the charm for the as Dirk Nowitzki went off in the finals averaging 28.7 pts 10.4 rebounds 1 steal and 2.7 blocks.

Lebron going to College has already changed the NBA right away as Dirk Nowitzki won the Mavericks there first ever NBA Championship 7 years before they did it in real life join me next as we begin the offseason with the 2004 NBA draft featuring Lebron James, Dwight Howard and Andre Iguodala.
