BPZ Booking Division 3.0

Recommended Posts

Welcome to The BPZ Booking Division 3.0. Where you create a new company start from the bottom and try to rise to the top of tthe wrestling world. The booking division is basically an alternate universe where all Real Wrestling companies disappear and new ones have to emerge. For Starters in this new Universe we need 7 to 10 New Companies. Then it will be decided between these new owners if we do current day wrestling or we do An All time draft. Regardless though there will be anywhere to 30 to 40 draft picks so be prepared to draft.  Just like the 1st Booking competition there will be rewards and Penalties given out to the winner or winners and loser of the month. Every company starts out the same your a small company with only 1 arena you do yyour shows in to start out. As you succeed and win months your company will expand. It is even possible to go under and be eliminated from the competition. Votings and all that are done with in the members of the competition because lets be real if your not in the competition you don't really give a shit about this than. So if your interested in joining DM me that you want in. Hurry up spots will be filled quickly!

Flair then pulls something out of his pocket, claiming that GPW is The Rainmaker's company, and it'd be their best choice to realize that now. Flair drops something in front of them, and Okada and him leave the ring. The camera pans in to reveal... Chaos armbands! Have Flair and Okada offered MBH in Okada's storied japan stable?

Chad Gable def. The Velveteen Dream in 10:16

After the match, Chad Gable would be emotional as he is now one of the final four left in the tournament. With the crowd behind him and him celebrating his win, Gable would stand up thanking the crowd... Before PAC would attack him! From behind, Pac beat the hell out of Gable before dropping a Black Arrow on the semi-finalist, then locking in the Brualizer as security forced PAC off Gable! Fenix says he understands, holding the heads of the brothers together as Fenix said he will be there at ringside, cheering his brother on.

GPW World Championship Tournament Quarterfinal: Roman Reigns vs Damian Priest

The third quarterfinal would be between The Samoan Nightmare, Roman Reigns and The Hunter, Damian Priest. The two would engage in a brawl as Priest used his agility to catch Reigns off guard. In the end, The Hunter would charge at Reigns, but seemingly out of nowhere, Reigns nailed a Spear and caught the three-count over Priest, advancing himself to the final four with the classic playing possium.

Roman Reigns def. Damian Priest in 10:03

After the match, Reigns would take the microphone. Reigns would say he's the best thing that GPW has going, he's unstoppable, and he's the talk of the wrestling world. Reigns says he has more accomplishments than a lot do in wrestling, and that doesn't stop with GPW, as at Revelations of a King, he will crown himself as King and win the GPW World Championship.

GPW World Championship Tournament Quarterfinal: Cody vs Pentagon Jr.

In the last quarterfinal match, to decide who would go onto face the Samoan Nightmare, Roman Reigns, Pentagon Jr. and Cody would go to war, but in the end, the established singles wrestler would come out on top with a Cross Rhodes, earning the three count in an exciting thriller between two elite performers.

Cody def. Pentagon Jr. in 16:33

After the match, Pentagon Jr. would be devastated, as Fenix tried to keep Pentagon's head high. Meanwhile, Cody, with Dustin next to him, would begin to gloat on the microphone to Roman Reigns, saying he's knocked off two former World Champions while Reigns has had an easy rout to the final, like he was given a silver spoon in WWE while Cody had to fight and was disrespected day after day. Eventually, the Lucha Bros jump Cody & Dustin, stomping them out in the ring! Pentagon would nail the Fear Factor on Cody, and Fenix dropped Dustin with a Firebird Driver as the Lucha Bros left the Brotherhood laying in the ring to end the show!

GPW World Championship Tournament Semifinal: Kazuchika Okada vs Chad Gable

A classic david vs goliath, the favorite vs the underdog. In this tournament, Okada defeated both members of GBH, like expected as the #1 seed. Meanwhile, Chad Gable has fought all the way from the #13 seed to reach this match, upsetting PAC & Velveteen Dream, two of GPW's best, to get here. And now, Gable is 3 seconds away from a pay-per-view main event. Unfortunately, though, after a hard-fought match, Okada would nail Gable with two Rainmakers before getting the three count, advancing to the final, as Gable laid in the ring, the underdog story over.

Kazuchika Okada def. Chad Gable in 14:32

As Okada left the ring, his spot in the finals now ensured, PAC would emerge, laughing at Gable. PAC would bend down over him with a microphone, telling him that he hopes he's okay and he's not gonna attack him tonight, because he wants the best Gable he can get in 6 days, because PAC is gonna beat him not just once, but twice... in a 2 out of 3 falls match, booking PAC vs Gable in a 2 out of 3 falls match for Revelations of a King.

Great Bash Heel reveal their decision:

General Manager William Regal would come out to the ring, calling out Private Party, and The North, two of GPW's overlooked tag teams. He would announce that starting next month, GPW will showcase the best tag team division in the world in a tournament, and one of these two teams, Private Party or The North, teams hyped up in videos lately would face off for a first round bye. But suddenly, Great Bash Heel with their Chaos armbands on, signalling their Chaos alignment, would emerge from the crowd, attacking the two tag teams as William Regal looked on! As they were left laying in the ring, William Regal then, impressed, announced Great Bash Heel as a third team in the First Round Bye Match!

Fenix vs Dustin Rhodes

After the Lucha Bros attack on The Brotherhood following Pentagon vs Cody, Fenix and Dustin Rhodes would square off. In a match of young upstart vs established veteran, the speed of Fenix would be too much for Dustin to handle as Fenix finished him off with a Firebird Driver, as the commentary team confirmed Brotherhood vs Lucha Bros for Revelations of a King, and if Cody wins tonight, he will have to pull double duty, and asked for this.

GPW World Championship revealed; Number One Contender's Match announced

Shawn Michaels would make a surprise appearance, lighting up the crowd as he came down to the ring where a podium with a tarp over it would be. He would get into the ring, saying that it's great to be in the hottest promotion in America, before saying he was here on important business, unveiling the tarp and showing off the GPW World Championship. Secondly, he would confirm this sunday that at Revelations of a King, Velveteen Dream, Dominik Dijakovic, and Damian Priest, three standouts from the tournament, would face off in a three-way to determine the #1 contender at GPW's second PPV.

GPW World Championship Tournament Semifinal: Roman Reigns vs Cody

The last semifinal, between Cody, who beat rival Nick Aldis and Pentagon Jr., meanwhile Roman Reigns knocked off a hard nosed competitior in The Mack, followed by the unique Damian Priest. And now it all concludes here, with Nightmare vs Nightmare, Dynasty vs Dynasty, and the winner goes onto face The Rainmaker at Revelations of a King. In the end, Cody would get a Cross Rhodes reversed into a Second spear, as Roman advanced onto the final, setting up Reigns vs Okada.

Roman Reigns def. Cody in 19:34

As the show was coming to a close, the theme of Okada hit, as Kazuchika Okada, Ric Flair, and Great Bash Heel trotted out, aka CHAOS. CHAOS would hit the ring, standing opposite Roman Reigns as Okada stepped forward, ending the show with a staredown of Okada vs Reigns, the main event of Revelations of a King.

EMPIRE PRO WRESTLING | Show 1 “A Fresh Start?” | Joe Bruno Stadium

We kick off the first EPW show as we hear Judas Effect blast through the stadium. Fans are on their feet as Chris Jericho is here in Empire Pro Wrestling. By his side we see the Big Show as it seems he has not come alone. Jericho would make his way to the ring as he begins to talk.

See the source image

Jericho: Would you look at this...Jericho is the savior of yet again another company. A sold out stadium for the one and only. Now though you all know that I am a nice guy right. I like to surround myself with people not only because they can help me but I can help them. So ladies and gentlemen I introduce to you the new members of the Inner Circle!

We then hear Southern Proud blast through the stadium as The Revival are revealed as the newest member of the Inner Circle and the EPW roster. The crowd boos as we see Jericho grin in the ring.

Image result for yhe revival

Jericho: What like this is not what you wanted. Well whether you boo or cheer us we are going to run Empire Pro Wrestling from now on. Now our first order of business, Triple H I know you are back there listening to this right now making sure I don’t do anything I’m not supposed to. So I am demanding a Tag Team Title Match for my boys the Revival right now! But you don’t have to answer right away, no..no..no. Don’t worry we will come to you.

The Inner Circle than exit the ring and head to the back as they are on their way to see the GM of EPW Triple H. Will Triple H give the Revival their desired title match?

We then get set for the first ever match in Empire Pro Wrestling as we will see some womens action as Tessa Blanchard will take on Tenille Dashwood. This will be one of two qualifying matches for a Womens Title Match at the first EPW PPV Under the Stars. The other qualifying match will take place next week in which when it’s all set and done set up for a great match.

See the source imageSee the source image

In a pretty good match, Tessa Blanchard defeated Tenille Dashwood after hitting her with the Magnum. Tenille Dashwwod stood no chance after getting hit with that move as Blanchard has earned herself a title opportunity with her opponent being decided next week.

We cut backstage as we see Heavy Machinery walking backstage. To many one of the top teams in EPW we see them stuff for a second as Mandy Rose approaches them.  Mandy gives a look to Tucker as he walks off leaving Otis and Mandy alone.

See the source image

Mandy Rose: Hey Otis, I was so happy to hear that you are gonna me in EPW with me. You know I saw you that you didn’t have a match tonight, so...I was wondering if you could teach me a few tricks or something you know. Basically anything that could improve my chances in the ring.

Otis looks at her as he stands there stunned for a moment thinking. Eventually he comes to his senses as he pulls some beef jerky out of his jacket and hands it to Mandy.

Otis: My pa makes that back home and ya know it helped me get big and strong. So you know it could help you get big and strong too.

Mandy looks at it and then to Otis she then begins to talk as she has his attention.

See the source image

Mandy: I mean Otis you know any stretches or something? You know I think my flexibility is pretty good but I’m sure you help stretch me out some more.

Mandy winks at Otis as he clearly does not get the message. Otis than grins as he begins to talk.

Otis: Oh okay I got something watch this.

Otis then goes to do a jumping jack but ends up slapping Mandy in the face. We see Otis immediately help her up as he feels awful about it.

Mandy: It’s alright Otis I can take it trust me. I can take a lot more than that too if you ever wanna spar or maybe even…

We see Tucker run in as he grabs Otis. Otis looks at Mandy listening but before she can finish Tucker begins to talk.

Image result for otis and tucker

Tucker: Otis you gotta come see this. Come look at the food they have in catering here it is so much better than the stuff we used to eat.

Tucker and Otis than run off leaving Mandy alone. Mandy watches out run off as she smiles clearly wanting something from the big man.

We then cut to Triple H’s office as we hear a knock on the door as The Inner Circle walk into the room. Triple H grins at the sight of them as Jericho begins to talk.

See the source image

Jericho: Alright Hunter you know what I want so just give it to me. I know you don’t want the inner circle as your enemy this early on.

Triple H looks at him and laughs as he begins to talk.

See the source image

HHH: Well I can’t see why we can’t reach a compromise here. Now Revival will get a chance at the titles but to get that chance they are gonna have to earn it. So next week, Revival you two are going to face off against Heavy Machinery the winner of that match will get inserted into the Title Match at the EPW Frostbite PPV. How’s that sound Chris?

Jericho looks at Triple H and laughs before him and the rest of the inner circle would exit his office leaving Triple H alone. We would see the lights then flicker for a moment but nothing came from it must have been an electrical error. The scene then cuts away back to the ring.

We then cut to the ring as we get set for our Main Event of the evening. It will be Daniel Bryan vs Elias. Both men are looking to start off their careers here in EPW with a win. Bryan being regarded as one of the top guys in the company a loss here could be detrimental for his EPW career. On the other hand a win for Elias would be a huge step in the right direction for him.

See the source imageSee the source image

In an excellent match, Daniel Bryan defeated Elias with a running knee. Elias took Bryan to his limits here as Bryan looked as if he was going to lose this match on many occasions but Bryan was able to overcome and win this one starting off his EPW career with a big win.

After the match was over we would see Bryan celebrate in the ring as the Yes chants rained through the stadium. As we would then see the ballpark lights go off as the crowd was left in complete darkness. We would then see the ring light up as behind Bryan stood the Fiend! The Fiend is here in EPW! He attacks Bryan laying him out with a clothesline then locking in the Mandible Claw. Bryan would eventually pass out as the lights ring lights went out and then came back again leaving Bryan down and out in the ring looking face up at the stars.

See the source image

EMPIRE PRO WRESTLING | Show 2 “RKO” | Joe Bruno Stadium

We kick off the show as we get set for another week of EPW. We hear Daniel Bryan’s theme hit as he makes his way down to the ring. Daniel Bryan was attacked last week by The Fiend last week and clearly is upset as he begins to talk.

Bryan would cut a promo stating the he wanted the Fiend at EPW Frostbite. Bryan is sick and tired of the Fiend getting away with everything he wants and Bryan stated he was going to be the one to end it.

We would see Triple H interrupt Bryan telling he has the Fiend situation under control. He states that he is going to put his faith in Daniel Bryan and in the Yes movement to handle The Fiend. Triple H would then make a match between Bryan and the Fiend for the EPW World Title at EPW Frostbite.

We then get set for our first match of the night as it will be Charlotte Flair vs Nikki Cross the winner of this match will go on to face Tessa Blanchard for the EPW Womens Title at EPW Frostbite. The match should be a good one, so let’s get right into it.

Charlotte Flair vs Nikki Cross

In a good match, Charlotte Flair would defeat Nikki Cross after hitting her with a natural selection. Cross was able to keep the match close for a majority but towards the end Flair got on a roll and never looked back picking up the victory and with it earning an EPW Womens Title match at Frostbite.

Next we would see WALTER make his way down to the ring as he is flanked by imperium. WALTER is said to be one of the top guys in EPW so it should be interesting to see what he has to say here tonight.

WALTER would begin to talk stating that he is the most dominant man this industry has ever seen. He also says no man has ever been on his level. WALTER continues to hype up Imperium before we hear The Big Show’s music hit.

Big Show would make his way down to the ring confronting WALTER telling him if he wants to prove that he is the most dominant man in this company he has to prove it by beating the man who has done it for 20 plus years. Big Show would challenge WALTER to a match at EPW Frostbite.

WALTER would laugh at him as Imperium would then beat him down. WALTER would eventually end the beatdown with a clothesline as the group left Big Show down and out in the ring before walking to the back.

We then get set up for our second match of the night as Heavy Machinery will take on the Revival. The winner of this match will be granted a championship opportunity at EPW Frostbite. Both regarded as some of the top teams in EPW this should be a good matchup between these teams.

In a good match, Heavy Machinery defeated The Revival after Otis beat Dash Wilder with the Caterpillar. We also saw Mandy Rose interfere in the match distracting the Revival allowing for Heavy Machinery to pick up the win. We will now see Heavy Machinery fighting to become the first EPW Tag Team Champions at EPW Frostbite.

We now get set for our main event match as Randy Orton will be taking on The Miz. Both men will be looking to start off their EPW careers with a win tonight. Both these men are regarded as some of the top talents in EPW and a win here would greatly push them up the rankings in EPW.

In an excellent match, Randy Orton defeated The Miz after hitting him with an RKO. Both men competed well in this match but Randy Orton was able to hit an RKO late to finish it. It is clear that these men will both serve big roles in the future of EPW Wrestling but Orton was just the better man tonight picking up the win.

After the match we would see Randy Orton in the ring as the Inner Circle’s music would hit. Orton would look confused in the ring as we would see Chris Jericho step in the ring across from Orton as Orton looked at him confused.

Jericho would grin as he would hold out it hand looking for Orton to shake it and seemingly be the newest member of the Inner Circle. We would see Orton shake his hand but as Jericho looked to walk off Orton was still holding on.

Jericho would then turn into an RKO and Orton rolled out of the ring and escaping through the crowd avoiding any further beatdown from the Inner Circle as the show comes to an end.

EMPIRE PRO WRESTLING | Show 3 “Revenge” | Joe Bruno Stadium

We kick off the show as we see Bray Wyatt appear with another episode of Firefly Funhouse. Bray begins to talk telling us to learn from our mistakes claiming Daniel Bryan has not learned from his yet still being foolish to fight with the Fiend.

Wyatt also says that the Fiend never forgets, the Fiend never forgets anything. The show then comes to an end as the Fiend appears on the screen before it fades to black.

We then move onto our first matchup of the night as WALTER will take on No Way Jose. WALTER made a statement last week beating down the Big Show alongside Imperium. WALTER now has a match this week against No Way Jose in what should be a big win for him.

In a short match, WALTER defeated No Way Jose with a powerbomb. After the match we would see WALTER and Imperium destroy the conga line of No Way Jose leaving carnage in their wake. Imperium looks to be dominant at the moment and that is hard to see changing anytime soon.

We would then cut backstage as we get set for an interview segment between Charlotte Flair and Tessa Blanchard. These two women will battle for the EPW Womens Title at Frostbite later this month. We saw the women deliver some serious blows to each other in this interview.

We saw Tessa kick it off telling Flair that since her dad was not in EPW no one will be able to protect her from her. Tessa would also make fun of the fakeness of Flair calling her nothing more than a do it yourself barbie doll that took a turn for the worst.

Flair though would not take this likely as she told Tessa to clean up her manners and actually step up for women not drag them down. Flair then called out Tessa telling her that no one in this entire company likes her and telling her to pack her bags cause she was about to end her EPW career.

The interview segment would then end with tension clearly being red hot between these two women with their title match only a few weeks away.

We would then see the Inner Circle backstage in Triple H’s office as they were clearly upset with Big Show and Jericho being attacked last week and the Revival being screwed over by Mandy Rose. Triple H laughed at them as they looked even more annoyed.

Jericho would quickly demand a tag team title match for the Revival and that Big Show gets a one on one match with WALTER. Jericho would also request that Randy Orton pays for his actions against the Inner Circle next week.

Triple H would grin before talking. He would grant Big Show’s match against WALTER and would book it for Frostbite. He would then say if the Revival can beat Heavy Machinery in tonight's Main Event it will make a best 2 out of 3’s match at the PPV decided the first EPW Tag Team Champions. He would then turn to Jericho telling him if he wanted revenge against Orton he would get the chance to do it himself at Frostbite as he would be going one on one with Orton.

Inner Circle would rush out of the room with Jericho getting what he wanted but not the way he wanted it. Triple H would be happy with his decisions as the cameras would cut away.

Would we see Otis and Tucker backstage as they are getting ready for their match against the Revival up next as Mandy Rose would come up and begin to talk to Otis.

Mandy would wish Otis good luck in his match tonight as she was leaving a bit early for a photoshoot she had. Otis would thank Mandy. Mandy though would give Otis a kiss on the cheek before walking off as Tucker looked at him with a grin on his face.

We would then see Otis and Tucker exit the locker room and make their way down to the ring as they get set for their matchup up next.

In our main event it will be Heavy Machinery vs The Revival and if the Revival win we will see this matchup once again at the Frostbite PPV for the Tag Team Titles. Should be a good match so let’s get right into it.

In a good match, The Revival would defeat Tucker with a Shatter Machine. The Revival would get their title match against Heavy Machinery at the Frostbite PPV. We close out the show with the Revival standing tall in the ring.

EMPIRE PRO WRESTLING | Show 4 “Love & Hate” | Joe Bruno Stadium

We start off the show as we see the Big Show backstage he is arriving at the arena. Suddenly we see him stop as we see WALTER approach him. Big Show looks at him as if they are going to come to blows but instead we see WALTER reach out and shake his hand as the two show a sign of respect before they go to battle at Frostbite.

We then cut to the ring as we get set for our first match of the night as Tessa Blanchard and Nikki Cross will team up to take on Charlotte Flair and Tenille Dashwood. Both women look to come out on top before the PPV it should be interesting to see who gets the momentum boost.

In a good match, Flair and Daswood defeated Blanchard and Cross after Charlotte Flair defeated Nikki Cross with a natural selection. We would see Flair and Dashwood then beatdown the two women after the match sending a message before the PPV.

We then cut backstage as we see Daniel Bryan sitting in the locker room. Bryan sees the cameras as he begins to talk.

Bryan calls the Fiend a coward telling him that he is not afraid of him. Bryan begs for the Fiend to come after him right now but the lights stay on as it seems the Fiend is not gonna be here tonight. Bryan then storms out of the locker room as he seems to be more than ready for the Fiend.

We then cut to the ring as we get set for a matchup between The Miz and Heath Slater. Both men not off to great starts here in EPW but a win here could change that and get one of these men on a positive trend going forward.

In a short match, The Miz defeated Heath Slater with a Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz looked dominant here with a win here is sure to make his way up the rankings here in EPW. The Miz and Maryse then can be seen celebrating in the ring as we cut backstage.

As we cut backstage we see Otis looking around with Tucker as we see them come to a door. Otis knocks on it as we see Mandy Rose answer as she smiles.

Otis would begin to talk as he tells Mandy he has a match up next and was wondering if she would like to come watch. Mandy agrees as the 3 then make their way down to the ring as we get set for our main event matchup.

We are about to see Randy Orton team up with Heavy Machinery to take on Chris Jericho and the Inner Circle. Both sides will be looking to gain some momentum heading into Frostbite as this will be the final match before the PPV.

In an excellent match, Randy Orton and Heavy Machinery defeated Chris Jericho and The Revival. Randy Orton would hit Scott Dawson with an RKO finishing this one. We would also see Mandy Rose get involved distracting Dawson allowing Otis to tag in Orton. We would then see Randy Orton, Heavy Machinery, and Mandy Rose celebrate in the ring heading into the PPV.

In a preview tag team match for next week's blockbuster main event of Samoa Joe vs. Naomichi Marufuji, tonight they are joined by members of their respective factions; Lance Archer and Brodie Lee on the side of Samoa Joe, and the team of Aussie Open backing up the Emerald Ace. In a fast-paced, spirited affair from both sides, Aussie Open in particular are able to display some dynamic tag team offence, with Davis getting a strong hot tag as an unstoppable machine of motion. Archer and Lee also look impressive as domineering big men over Marufuji's team. Samoa-gun are able to pick up the victory with Lance Archer applying the EBD Claw to Kyle Fletcher and pinning him to the mat after Brodie Lee neutralises Mark Davis with a massive Discus Lariat. Meanwhile, Samoa Joe and Marufuji are busy brawling at ringside!

A video package plays hyping up the Irish Ace, Jordan Devlin. Walking the line between competitive honour, and bitter contempt, he stakes his claim to the Shogun Junior Heavyweight Championship. He says that they've decided for the Inaugural Champion to be decided in a Four-Way Match at Maiden Voyage, but the Irish Ace will take on all challengers. He calls out Will Ospreay and Ryu Lee in particular as his top competition in the Division. No matter what, The Irish Ace will make to Maiden Voyage.

In a quick tag team match that showcased LIJ well, they were able to overcome the superior size and power advantage of the veteran team of Suwama and Shuji Ishikawa. While SANADA's technical acumen was able to match that of Suwama, he found some trouble with Ishikawa, who hit SANADA with a massive shotgun dropkick into the corner. However, EVIL was able to equalise with his bruiser style, even picking up the hulking giant for a Darkness Falls. The Dragon, Shingo Takagi makes his way out to the ring and addresses his desire to not limit himself to either the Junior Heavyweight, or heavyweight divisions. He, unlike some, sees the talent in both, and classes himself as an "Openweight Wrestler". Fittingly, he then expresses his quest to become the Shogun Openweight Champion, and encourages any and all of the Junior Heavyweights to help him break down the barrier between the divisions. However, he is interrupted by Rampage Brown, accompanied by his Legion tag team partner, Tomoyuki Oka, who gives Shingo a vicious spear for his trouble. Legion have laid out the Dragon, and Rampage mockingly stands over Shingo's fallen form.

Tetsuya Naito vs. James Storm

In the main event of Shogun's first chapter, The leader of Los Ingobernables de Japon takes on "Cowboy" James Storm. He is a wrestler who isn't known for his work in Japan, but looks to make a name for himself here in Shogun. The match starts slow, with Naito's tranquilo attitude oddly matched by Storm's lax attitude to the Ungovernable One. Naito dodges an early attempt at the Last Call Superkick, whipping Storm into the corner and connecting with the Cabron Combination. Naito poses in the ring, his tranquilo attitude resonating with the crowd who cheer him on. As the match continues, Storm becomes more and more impatient and violent towards Naito's antics, stomping maliciously on Naito's previously injured knee, grapevining the leg for a kneebar. However, Naito rallies by reaching the ropes, and escapes when he is lifted up into the Eye of the Storm, countering into a pin attempt for a close two count. Both men run the ropes and Naito hits the flying forearm, followed by Gloria, and a Destino for the impressive win after countering the Last Call once again. Naito advances to Maiden Voyage to face either Naomichi Marufuji or Samoa Joe.

Tag Team Match
Strong Oni (Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi) vs. The Mighty Don't Kneel (Shane Thorne and Mikey Nicholls)

Image result for Yuji Okabayashi and Daisuke SekimotoRelated image

An interesting clash of styles kicks off Shogun as the heavy-hitting hoss team of Okabayashi and Sekimoto take on Shane Thorne and Mikey Nicholls, The Mighty Don't Kneel. The match starts with Strong Oni dominating the match with their superior power. While Nicholls and Thorne are heavyweights, their opponents are build like tanks. Thorne gets thrown from pillar to post by Sekimoto's suplexes, and battered by Okabayashi's strikes. However, none of their moves are quite able to put Thorne away, he is too resilient.

He knows that tag team contention could be on the line here, and cannot afford to lose. Thorne is finally able to make the tag to Nicholls, who runs like a house of fire around the ring, levelling Sekimoto with lariats and his signature spinebuster. Okabayashi tries to equalise, but gets an enziguri from Thorne on the apron for his efforts, followed by a triangle moonsault!! Nicholls makes the tag to Thorne and hits the Mad Bomb on Sekimoto, and impressive feat on the Muscle Monster. Thorne climbs to the top rope and connects perfectly with the Black Swan Splash for the pinfall win.

The Might Don't Kneel (Shane Thorne and Mikey Nicholls) def. Strong Oni (Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi) in 12:49 via pinfall with a Black Swan Splash to Daisuke Sekimoto

After the match, Shane Thorne and Mikey Nicholls are suddenly jumped by Lance Archer and Brodie Lee. They made their intentions known for the Tag Team Championships last week, and do not take kindly to TMDK wanting to contest them. Brodie Lee lays out Nicholls with the Brodie Bomb, while Archer locks the EBD Claw over Thorne, needing security to wrench Archer and Lee away from their victims.

Backstage, Marufuji is seen in the locker room with fellow veterans Kojima, Tenzan and Nagata. They discuss their matches and their opponents of Samoa-gun, that they've seen countless opponents with the same attitude as them, they are no different. The veterans are here because they were able to stand the test of time, and not the brash villains that have joined Shogun. Marufuji says that Joe may have a size advantage, but any tree can be chopped down, and he's not afraid to get dirty for this fight. He highlights his desire to become Triple Crown Champion, as one last mega run while he can still be the Emerald Ace of any company around the world.

In an unusual twist from the norm, three junior heavyweights from Samoa-gun are taking on three stalwart veteran heavyweights of the Japanese wrestling scene. The match kicks off with the size advantage of the heavyweights overpowering the pesky juniors, but Desperado and DOUKI are able to tip the scales in their favour by pulling out various less than honourable tricks. Be it distracting the referee, distracting their opponents on the apron, raking the eyes, and even a low blow, nothing is beneath getting the victory for Samoa-gun. El Desperado get lit up by the Machine Gun chops of Satoshi Kojima, and DOUKI is taken for a beating around ringside by "Blue Justice" Yuji Nagata. However, as the match reaches it's climax, it seems as though Tenzan is firing up for the victory after hitting a big suplex, but what's this?!?! Kanemaru sprays Tenzan in the face with the Suntori Surprise!! El Desperado capitalises with a pin attempt and gets the tainted win for Samoa-gun.

Shingo Takagi smiles for a moment and lightly touches a bruise on his neck, thanking Rampage for giving him this. If Rampage wants a slugfest, then The Dragon will be happy to oblige him.

Naito states that he will be watching the main event tonight, not because he has any interest in the result, just out of morbid interest. It doesn't matter who wins tonight, they are not the Shuyaku (Top Star) of Shogun, only the Ungovernable One can call himself that.

In a blockbuster main event, The Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe, takes on Naomichi Marufuji. The match starts off slow, both men feeling out their opponent with slick chain wrestling, but neither man giving the other a clean break from the ropes. This urgency to inflict more damage to the opponent quickly escalates the match to a brutal slugfest of a bout. Samoa Joe's chest quickly develops painful red and purple welts from the sheer force of Marufuji's chops, while Joe lays in calculated punches and forearms to the Emerald Ace. After a suplex trade, a flush hook kick from Marufuji, and attempt at the Emerald Flowsion, and Joe almost locking in the Coquina Clutch, Marufuji throws Joe out of the ring, but is suddenly met by a suicide dive from Joe!!

The crowd in Korakuen roar in excitement, soon admonsihing Joe as he starts to throw Marufuji around the ringside area, clattering the him around the barricades followed by a massive german suplex onto the ringside mats. After more punishment, Marufuji is able to overcome and fight back, whipping Joe into the floor seating chairs, the crowd quickly displacing to avoid the onslaught. Marufuji is able to land a perfect pump kick to Joe who gets knocked loopy and Marufuji stumbles back to the ring, cognisant that the referee has been counting them out. He reaches the ring at the count of 16, and Joe is beginning to gain his bearings. But, in what could be seen as a huge upset, Joe isn't able to reach the ring in time, and gets counted out as the referee reaches 20! Joe looks visibly seething at the result, Marufuji didn't beat him.....he just escaped, delaying the inevitable.

Shogun Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship Press-Conference

In a pre-taped segment hyping up the much anticipated match, Naomichi Marufuji and Tetsuya Naito make their main event title match at Maiden Voyage official. Throughout the press-conference, Marufuji is continually irked by Naito's lax attitude, especially that Naito showed up a good hour late, calling the leader of LIJ unprofessional and unfit to lead Shogun. Naito shrugs off Marufuji's criticisms, saying that he might not be the uptight "Shuyaku" that Marufuji wants him to be, but he is the "Shuyaku" nonetheless. Naito also jabs that Marufuji wasn't actually able to definitely beat his opponent to get into this title match, that he took a short cut because Marufuji can't hang with the big players anymore. The conference ends with tension that could be cut with a knife, Naito's goading of Marufuji might not have brought out a fight yet, but the Emerald Ace might an even bigger fight to Maiden Voyage.

As Gable continued his attack, PAC would snap, not having any of it as he began to light Gable up with strikes. After a trio of devastating German Suplexes, PAC would climb the top rope, nailing a Black Arrow followed by locking in the Brutalizer, as Gable, knowing he has another fall, would tap out. As the third fall went on, both men appeared tired. After another 10 minutes, PAC would nail a Superkick, as Gable fell to his knees, exhausted. PAC would climb the top rope as the fans booed, before hitting another Black Arrow, putting Gable down.

The Brotherhood (Cody & Dustin Rhodes) vs Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix)

The final match before the main event would be a never-before-seen tag team match. Following Pentagon's loss in the GPW World Championship Tournament, him and his brother Rey Fenix would attack The Brotherhood, sick of their gloating and tonight, the sets of brothers team up in what is sure to be a fantastic tag team match.

The teams would go back and forth, trying to prove that they are the better team. In the end, Pentagon Jr. would be looking for the Fear Factor on Dustin Rhodes, but Cody would nail him with a Springboard Kick to the face, dropping Pentagon! As Fenix came in, Dustin Rhodes clotheslined the Bird of Fire, as Cody picked him up, and dropped him with a Cross Rhodes as Dustin hit the Final Cut on Pentagon. Cody would pin Fenix, 1-2-3, as The Brotherhood prevailed in this personal battle. The final scene would be Cody & Dustin hugging in the center of the ring, honored to fight alongside each other.

GPW World Championship Final: Roman Reigns vs Kazuchika Okada w/ Ric Flair

In our main event, Rainmaker vs Samoan Nightmare, Okada and Reigns would go to war. In what many consider to be a dream match, the two would go back and forth, lighting up the Walt Disney Concert Hall with reversals and hard strikes, and tough bumps, like when Roman Reigns powerbombed Okada through the announce table at ringside, or when Okada dropped Reigns onto his spine on the barricade.

In the end, with Roman Reigns having hit two spears, Reigns would look for a third as Okada stumbled to his feet, but as Reigns charged, Okada nailed a Rainmaker without the wrist lock, flipping Reigns inside out! Okada would get Reigns on his feet, before picking him up and dropping him down with a Spinning Tombstone! As Reigns was dazed, Okada scooped him up, nailing a third Rainmaker of the match, before dropping into the cover for the three count, crowning Kazuchika Okada as the first ever GPW World Champion.

As he struck his signature Rainmaker pose with the title, suddenly, The Velveteen Dream's theme hit, as the Number One Contender came out to the stage!

A staredown between Kazuchika Okada and The Velveteen Dream followed, as next up for the new champion of Global Pro Wrestling is that man! Okada vs Dream, Rainmaker vs Dream for the GPW World Championship!
