WWE Bans Another Word?

Recommended Posts

Taynara Conti has revealed that WWE asked her not to use the word 'crazy' before her release. The former NXT Superstar was talking to Ring The Belle when she claimed that she was stopped from using the word on TV.

Conti used to should shout 'Are you crazy' at her opponents during the match but that was replaced after WWE made the new rule. She then started using 'Latinas do it better' and there was no real reason provided until now for that change.

“I always tried to put that in my matches, like I need to find a moment to do it. One day, I had a match on TV. Someone from WWE told me, ‘Hey, Tay, we cannot say ‘crazy’ on TV anymore.’ I was like, ‘Oh no, that’s kind of my thing now.’ They were like, ‘Yeah, sorry, don’t say it.’”

Taynara was among the WWE Superstars released in the mass exodus in April. There were rumors of her release before that but she had squashed them returning to the ring a few weeks later.

I'm not going to go back and verify it but i wouldn't be surprised if someone in the last few weeks since those releases has said the word 'crazy' on television. I have no idea why out of all words and the poor attempts at working bitch into every sentence they would ban it. My only guess is that maybe they felt it was disrespect to mental health awareness and that was their woke moment.  The more i read from these post release interviews the more i feel for Taynara. Given the opportunity to move to America and chase an industry she didn't know existed. And in the end WWE either didn't believe in her or had other talent they wanted to prioritise with the independent talent being signed. Might be a tale told more than once as the future persists.
