Former World Heavyweight Champion Ryback spoke to BrendenPlayz.com after his huge victory on this weeks Monday Night RAW. Ryback teamed up with Roman Reigns to verse Dean Ambrose and Ryback’s arch nemesis Triple H in tag team action. Ryback picked Triple H up and hit the “Shellshock” to pin Triple H for the win. We spoke to Ryback after his big victory to get his thoughts on his upcoming match at Extreme Rules.
“Tonight was just the beginning” Ryback explained. “Triple H and I have had our battles already and he has got the better of me when I wasn’t at my best. Ever since his assault on me after our first match on RAW I’ve been battling a rib and sternum injury. I was still at 75% at Wrestlemania and I’ve only just been medically cleared by the doctors last week to compete.”
Ryback has been on the verge of breaking through the tough competition on Monday Night RAW to become a future contender for the WWE Championship. He believes that defeating Triple H will give him the boost he needs to earn him a shot at the title. “I have to win this match at Extreme Rules. Triple H is a washed up has-been. He’s been lucky up until now. At Extreme Rules I need to beat Triple H to keep me in the hunt for the gold. I’ve been hungry for championship gold ever since I arrived on RAW one year ago and I haven’t succeeded yet, i’m looking to change that after Extreme Rules.”
Triple H and Ryback will meet for the third time in single’s action at the Extreme Rules PPV. As it stands, Triple H has won both encounters thus far against one another. However, with a win in tag team action on RAW for Ryback, perhaps “The Big Guy” is going to have the last say in their rivalry.
Ryback and Triple H meet in a No Holds Barred Match live on the BrendenPlayz youtube channel, coming soon.
