Many of us were stunned upon the arrival of the Icon Sting at Summerslam and wondered what his next move would be. That question would soon be answered at the Night of Champions PPV when Sting would once again arrive, but this time Sting would not walk away from The Undertaker, he would strike. Two Scorpion Deathdrops was the cause of what would be a tragic Money in the Bank Cash In for Undertaker fans. The Deadman had just defended his championsihp in a hard fought Triple Threat Match against two of the best Smackdown has to offer in Batista and Brock Lesnar. But Sting would be in the ring, ready to attack before The Undertaker could even raise the championship in the air. This attack would allow Chris Jericho to cash in his Money in the Bank Championship and “steal” the championship away from Undertaker.
The question many Universe Mode fans have asked is why? Why is Sting targeting Undertaker ? Now that The Undertaker has lost the World Heavyweight Championship will this influence Stings decision making? Will he now target Chris Jericho? Is the championship the prized possession that he desires or is it personal between The Undertaker and Sting?
These are the questions that many fans are wanting to know and unfortunately we don’t have an answer yet. But thing that we can assume is that Sting is likely to make a third appearance at Hell in a Cell. With two straight appearances at the latest Universe Mode PPVs, we can expect Sting to appear again but will he be after The Undertaker or will he be after Chris Jericho?
One thing is for sure is that the Hell in a Cell structure could be the savior for both of these superstars, as it is very unlikely Sting will not be able to break into the structure to directly interfere in the match itself, so this could lead to a clear decisive finish. But it could be the winner that may be on the receiving end of another Scorpion Death Drop from The Vigilante as he continues to run havoc on Smackdown.
BrendenPlayz.com sent out an invitation for Sting to answer our questions but it is unknown if Sting received the message as we were not able to receive a response.
